In this year’s intermediate exams conducted by Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, out of 9.74 lakh students who appeared in the exams, 3.28 lakh students have been failed. Many other forms of discrepancies have been reported.
 
It is a matter of profound sadness that twenty students have committed suicide in Telangana during last one week over the failure in the intermediate exams. Our condolences and thoughts go out to the family and friends of students.
 
Students’ suicide is a difficult and challenging situation that can generate a high level of anxiety and distress in other students. We request every parent whose child has appeared in examinations to talk to them and let them know that they are with them. If you feel that your children are having difficulty, we encourage you to discuss their thoughts and feelings to help them work through their grief or concerns.
 
Youth For Swaraj(Y4S) has been highlighting the apathy and lackadaisical approach of governments’ towards the future of youth, which manifests itself in their mishandling of board and competitive exams. It generates great deal of uncertainty and anxiety among students who put in a lot of hard work for these exams.
 
Y4S reiterates its resolve to continue fighting for students’rights. We strongly demand that Governments seriously consider implementation of ‘Model Exam Code’ prepared by Yuva-HallaBol after wider consultation for transparent and hassle-free exams.
 
We strongly demand a thorough investigation of bungling in result preparation process as 3.28 lakh student failed out of 9.74 lakh students. We also support the demands of the affected students for revaluation. Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education should urgently provide counselling services to students to help students cope up with the stress.

Youth for Swaraj(Y4S) stands in solidarity with the calls made to discontinue the misogynistic annual practice of ‘V-tree puja’ in Hindu College, Delhi University. Y4S congratulates Hindu College Progressive Front for raising the issue effectively.
 
Every year, on the eve of Valentine’s Day, as a part of an annual ritual, students of Hindu College boys’ hostel congregate to worship ‘V-tree’, in which they sing aarti in front of an actress’s photograph. The ritual is done with a belief that the participants will lose their virginity soon.
 
Not only does the ritual objectifies women, it’s also detrimental to the efforts of creating gender-inclusive spaces in universities. It’s to the credit of’Hindu College Progressive Front’ that they forced a lively debate on the issue but it was wrongly framed as ‘legacy versus objectification’. “No legacy is so rich as honesty”, said Shakespeare. Legacy ought to be understood in broad terms and not as blind adherence to some misogynistic practice. And any ritual that has only the force of ‘legacy’ behind it, stands on weak legs.
 
Y4S reaffirms its commitment to struggle for gender-inclusive Universities and nurturing spaces for open and healthy discussion on contentious issues.

Fourteen students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have been booked on sedition charges on the complaint of a local leader from the ruling party after two groups of students clashed on campus following a protest against an alleged attack on a visiting news crew from Republic TV. Slapping of sedition charges and the deliberate attempts before that to disturb the peace of the campus are in continuation of the earlier attempts made by members of the ruling dispensation to polarise the electorate on religious lines.
 
The divisive politics that the ruling party thrives on, continuously needs an ‘other’ to polarise the masses. Deliberate attempts to create disturbances in AMU are a part of that larger design.
 
It’s unfortunate that the ruling party resorts to defaming universities to serve its own petty interests. It’s extremely painful to see our public universities being used as laboratories for divisive politics. As the general elections are approaching, such attempts are also being made to divert public’s attention from real and substantive issues.
 
Y4S National Convenor Manish Kumar said, “Slapping sedition chargers on university students has become a new trend. There have been various instances where Modi Government left no stone unturned to suppress the voice of universities. If any media organization be it Republic TV was heckled by the students, the alleged students should be punished by law and courts. By slapping sedition chargers on students the government is mocking itself.”
 
Y4S stands in solidarity with the AMU fraternity and reiterates its commitment to fight for communal harmony and retaining the importance of real, substantive issues in the coming general elections. Y4S also demands that colonial era sedition law, which is continuously used to harrass individuals and paint them as enemies of nation; be scrapped in the interests of democracy and freedom.

Student-youth organisations from across the nation came together to organise Young India Adhikar March. Thousands of youth marched from Red Fort to Jantar Mantar to protest against increasing privatisation of education, decreasing employment opportunities and corruption and irregularities in recruitment exams.
 
Unemployment rate has reached four-decade high. Different reports have credibly established the fact that India is going through an unprecedented jobs crisis. But Modi Government, leave alone taking steps to mitigate the crisis, it’s not even ready to acknowledge the pain of the youth. Modi Government just wants to divert people’s attention by manipulating the data. Finance Minister Arun Jaitely went to extent of saying that there’s no jobs crisis, had there been one, there would have been unrest and protests on the streets.
 
Youth for Swaraj (Y4S) wrote an open letter to Arun Jaitely to invite him to the Young India Adhikar March. He was informed that his obliviousness to the ferment among India’ youth is surprising and Young India Adhikar March is a good opportunity for him to send a representative and acquaint himself with the jobs crisis and the pain of the youth. He was also requested to nudge Prime Minister Modi to launch the much-needed Prime Minister Cheat Fund Yojna(PMCFY) so that youth can collect funds to buy seats, which are otherwise difficult to acquire through honest means and hard-work.
 
Expressing his solidarity with the historical youth march, Swaraj India National President Yogendra Yadav said, “Every felt has grown more insecure under Modi Government. And government is resorting to religious polarisation to divert people’s attention from real issues. Modi Government is making its best efforts to ensure that the issues of youth and farmers are not raised in the upcoming general elections. But the people of India have decided that they want the next general elections to be on the issues of ‘Kisan-Naujawan’, and not ‘Hindu-Musalman’. Farmers of India have forced this government to bend and listen to them, it’s youth’s turn now.
 
Leader of the nationwide youth movement for job opportunities and fair selection, Yuva-Hallabol; Anupam said, “The country is undergoing an unprecedented jobs crisis but Modi Government is investing its entire energy in suppressing the indicators of jobs crisis. Youth are not merely protesting, they are also presenting a concrete alternative. In a historical youth summit organised on 27 January, Yuva-Hallabol prepared ‘Model Exam Code’ for transparency in recruitment exams. If the government invested even an iota of energy it invests in diverting people’s attention and suppressing the data, we wouldn’t have reached this stage.”
 
Y4S National Convenor Manish Kumar said that it’s hopeful to see young India raising its voice against the injustices it is facing. Y4S is uniting the youth of the country in its fight against unemployment. Y4S has been continuously struggling against constantly decreasing govt vacancies and irregularities and corruption in recruitment exams. Gen. Secretary of Y4S Rishav Ranjan said, “We made the Modi Gov. realize that Young India is still alive. We will continue the struggle against governments across the countries on Pradhan Mantri Cheat Fund Yojna (PMCFY) and take on the most anti-youth country India ever had”.
 
Gen. Secretary of Y4S Amit said, ” The gov. is trying to muzzle the real data on unemployment but still young journalists are doing a great job by ‘principle leaking’ those important facts”.

बेरोज़गारी दर चार दशकों में सबसे अधिक पर पहुँच चुकी है। विभिन्न रिपोर्टों से यह बात प्रमाणित हो चुकी है। पर सरकार है कि बेरोज़गारी से लड़ने के लिए कदम उठाना तो दूर, बेरोज़गारी की समस्या है- यह तक मनाने को तैयार नहीं है। मोदी सरकार आँकड़ों की बाज़ीगरी के माध्यम से जनता को भ्रमित करना चाह रही है। सरकार के वित्त मंत्री ने तो यहाँ तक कह दिया कि अगर बेरोजगारी है तो अराजकता क्यों नहीं है। यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज ने सार्वजनिक पत्र लिखकर अरुण जेटली को यंग इंडिया अधिकार मार्च में आमंत्रित किया है। पत्र में उन्हें बताया कि पिछले 4 वर्षों में युवा-आंदोलनों के प्रति उनकी अनभिज्ञता आश्चर्यजनक है, इसी लिए एक बार मार्च में अपने प्रतिनिधि को भेजकर अपनी अनभिज्ञता दूर कर लें। यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज ने उनसे यह भी आग्रह किया कि वो प्रधानमंत्री से कहकर युवाओं के लिए अतिआवश्यक प्रधानमंत्री चीट फण्ड योजना(PMCFY) लागू करवाएँ ताकि युवा अपने लिए सरकारी नौकरी खरीद सकें क्योंकि ईमानदार तरीके से, मेहनत करके नौकरी ले पाना तो संभव नहीं है।
 
युवाओं के ऐतिहासिक मार्च को अपना समर्थन देते हुए स्वराज इंडिया के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष योगेन्द्र यादव ने कहा “मोदी सरकार के कार्यकाल में हर वर्ग पहले से ज्यादा असुरक्षित हुआ है। और सरकार अपनी विफलताओं को छुपाने के लिए हिन्दू-मुस्लिम ध्रुवीकरण का सहारा ले रही है। सरकार की पूरी कोशिश है कि 2019 के चुनाव में किसानों और नौजवानों का मुद्दा ही न उठाया जाए। पर देशवासियों ने ठान लिया है कि वो लोकसभा चुनाव किसान-नौजवान के मुद्दे पर चाहते हैं, हिन्दू-मुसलमान के मुद्दे पर नहीं। किसानों ने अपने संघर्ष से इस सरकार को झुकने पर मज़बूर किया है, अब नौजवानों की बारी है।
 
रोज़गार अवसरों व पारदर्शी चयन प्रक्रिया के लिए चल रहे राष्ट्रव्यापी युवा आंदोलन युवा-हल्लाबोल का नेतृत्व कर रहे अनुपम ने कहा “देश अप्रत्याशित बेरोज़गारी संकट से गुज़र रहा है और सरकार अपनी पूरी ऊर्ज़ा बेरोजगारी की सच्चाई बयान करने वाले आँकड़ों को दबाने और झुठलाने में लगा रही है। देश के युवा केवल विरोध नहीं कर रहे हैं, ठोस विकल्प भी पेश कर रहें हैं। युवाओं ने परीक्षाओं में धांधली रोकने व उन्हें पारदर्शी बनाने के लिए ‘मॉडल एग्जाम कोड’ तैयार किया है। पर सरकार जितनी ऊर्जा असल मुद्दों से ध्यान भटकाने और सच्चाई को छुपाने में लगाती है, उसका अंशमात्र भी युवाओं को सुनने और रास्ता निकालने में लगाती तो स्थिति इतनी ख़राब नहीं होती।”
 
यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक मनीष कुमार ने कहा कि युवाओं के साथ हो रहे घोर अन्याय के खिलाफ़ आयोजित यंग इंडिया अधिकार मार्च भविष्य के प्रति आशान्वित करने वाला है। यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज देश भर के युवाओं को बेरोज़गारी के खिलाफ़ एकत्रित कर रहा है। सरकारी नौकरियों में लगातार हो रही कटौती और चयन परीक्षाओं में हो रही अनियमितताओं व भ्रष्टाचार के खिलाफ़ लगातार संघर्षरत रहा है। हम देश में बेरोज़गारी के खिलाफ़ होने वाले हर सकारात्मक युवा आंदोलन के साथ खड़ें हैं।”
 
यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज के महासचिव ऋशव रंजन ने कहा, “आज हमने ये इस मार्च से देश के तमाम सरकारों को यह संदेश दे दिया कि यंग इंडिया अभी भी जिंदा है। जेटली जी को अब जान जाना चाहिए कि युवाओं में कितना आक्रोश है। हम इस संघर्ष को ‘प्रधान मंत्री चीट फण्ड योजना’ के द्वारा आगे बढ़ाएंगे जिससे यह सिद्ध हो जाएगा कि ये सरकार आज तक कि सबसे युवा विरोधी छात्र विरोधी सरकार है”.
 
संगठन में महासचिव अमित कुमार ने कहा, ” ये सरकार अपनी पूरी ताकत आंकड़ों को दबाने में लगी हुई है। फिर भी सैद्धान्तिक लिकिंग के जरिए के पत्रकार इस सरकार की पोल खोल रहे हैं”.
 
यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज अपनी एड़ी छोटी का जोर लगाकर यह साबित कर देगा इस अंसवेदनशील और असक्षम सरकार से राष्ट्र निर्माण नहीं होगा।

We are writing this letter to you after being fascinated by your blogs on various issues and specially your tweet. On 1st February 2019 at 2:49 pm your tweet on allegations of ‘no job creation’ expressed that you expected a ‘social unrest’ if the allegations were true. We are really thankful that you did pay heed on the allegations. We are writing you to convince you on the rising ‘unemployment crisis’ and invite you to join the Young India Adhikaar March.
 
As you have been part of the historic movement for democracy in 1970s, who else would understand the challenges of coming onto streets and protesting against majoritarian governments better than you.
 
As your kind-self knows, the biggest barrier in reaching your doorstep from all over India is ‘money’ for distressed and jobless youth like us. That is why you may have seen us protesting in different parts of the country on different issues. We have recently written and appealed to our honorable prime minister Shri Narendra Modi to launch the ‘Pradhan Mantri Cheat Fund Yojna (PMCFY) ‘ which can help us to deal with many such monetary challenges. We want you to please talk to him on this when you meet or talk to him next and allocate a small budget for the PMCFY.
 
We know you are very busy and focused on economic growth but we would like to draw your attention to several student protests over past year itself. Several of these spontaneous movements against #PaperLeaks and systematic corruption in recruitment have been covered in the news. We don’t know why it missed your radar or whether the National Media didn’t raise this efficiently. Movements like #SSCScam, #CSATCompensatoryAttempt, #Vote4Jobs or #Karnataka4Employment, Bihar SSC, Haryana SSC, Vyapam, Railway Exams, Teacher Recruitment etc. all of these for more jobs, secure jobs and fair selection is much more evident than your assumptions.
 
While trying to raise this joblessness issue on several forums with whatever meager means we have, we have also studied the subject matter in-depth and come up with a list of suggestions and demands relating to jobs, fair selection, model exam code , and specific demands to recruitment bodies. This is detailed in our online petition to the government of India and we are 100% sure it will help in mitigating the job crisis that faces the youth of our nation today. Sir, we request you to kindly read and sign our petition and share it personally with the prime minister.

क्या नरेंद्र मोदी को किसान विरोधी बताना देशद्रोह है?

उत्तर प्रदेश के राय बरेली में स्वराज अभियान के युवा कार्यकर्ताओं ने मोदी सरकार की किसान विरोधी नीतियों को उजागर करने के लिए प्रधान मंत्री के दौरे से पहले पोस्टर लगा कर अपना विरोध जताने का रास्ता इख्तियार किया. इन पोस्टर पर हाल ही में ३० नवम्बर को दिल्ली में संपन्न किसान संसद के बाद स्वराज इंडिया के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष, योगेन्द्र यादव, द्वारा दिए गए नारे “नरेन्द्र मोदी, किसान विरोधी” को लिखा गया था. हमारे युवा साथी पुष्कर पाल और सत्य प्रकाश यादव इन पोस्टरों को लगा रहे थे. लेकिन प्रदेश की भाजपा सरकार को इस सत्याग्रह से भी इनकार है.
 
ऐसे में हमारे युवा संगठन यूथ4स्वराज के इन दो कर्मठ कार्यकर्ताओं को पुलिस ने १४ दिसम्बर को हिरासत में ले लिया. तब हमारे अन्य साथियों के विरोध पर कहा गया कि प्रधानमंत्री के दौरे के चलते यह केवल एहतियाती कार्यवाही है, लेकिन आज 36 घंटे गुज़र जाने के बाद भी इन कार्यकर्ताओं को छोड़ा नहीं गया है. यही नहीं अब इन कार्यकर्ताओं को किसी अज्ञान जगह पर भी नज़रबंद किया गया है.
 
बहुत पूछने पर पता चला है कि इन्हें राय बरेली कोतवाली से शिवघर थाने भेज दिया गया है. स्वराज अभियान की प्रदेश अध्यक्ष, अर्चना श्रीवास्तव, ने बताया कि वे कल रात शिव्घर थाणे पहुँचीं लेकिन रात १.३० बजे तक भी कार्यकर्ताओं से उनकी बात नहीं करवाई गयी. उस पर यह भी बताया गया कि दोनों कार्यकर्ताओं पर देशद्रोह के अंतर्गत 124ए की धाराएं लगाई जायेंगी.
 
स्वराज अभियान पिछले तीन वर्षों से किसानों की हक की लड़ाई लड़ रहा है. ऐसे में क्या किसानों के मुद्दे प्रधान मंत्री सामने लाने की हर कोशिश की जा रही है. यह पोस्टर भी ऐसी ही एक कोशिश है. क्या यह मान लिया जाए कि किसानों के अधिकार माँगना, उनका समर्थन करना अब देशद्रोह माना जाएगा? क्या लोकतंत्र में गांधीवादी विरोध भी अब देशद्रोह होगा?
 
आज उत्तर प्रदेश स्वराज अभियान की अध्यक्ष, अर्चना श्रीवास्तव, आज से राय बरेली कोतवाली के सामने धरना देंगी. स्वराज अभियान के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष, प्रशांत भूषण आज इस अलोकतांत्रिक प्रक्रिया के विरोध में राय बरेली पुलिस अधीक्षक को पत्र लिख रहे हैं, जो प्रदेश के डी जी पी और मुख्यमंत्री को भी भेजी जायेगी.
 
स्वराज अभियान इस तानाशाही का विरोध करता है, और यह भी जताता है कि ऐसी हर तानाशाही प्रक्रिया का हम विरोध करेंगे.

दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी में दिखा खोखली छात्र राजनीति का अवतार
 
हम सालों से देखते आ रहें हैं कि कैसे छात्र राजनीति में नैतिकता की धज्जियाँ उड़ाई जाती हैं। इस बार नई राजनीति का दावा ठोकने वाले CYSS-AISA के द्वारा भी उसी प्रकार का चुनाव प्रचार का होना बहुत निराशाजनक है। हर साल दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र एनएसयूआई और एबीवीपी जैसे छात्र संगठनों द्वारा गुंडागर्दी और अनचाही हुड़दंग को झेलते हैं।
 
इस वर्ष CYSS-AISA ने गठबंधन कर यह दावा किया कि यह राजनीति के पूरे तरीके को बदलेगी लेकिन उनके चुनाव अभियान का परिदृश्य इसके विपरीत है। सीवाईएसएस – आईसा गठबंधन के सचिव उम्मीदवार सनी तंवर को उनके रोड शो के दौरान लक्जरी कारों का प्रदर्शन करते हुए देखा गया और इतना ही नहीं इसे CYSS और सनी तंवर के द्वारा अच्छे से प्रचारित किया जा रहा है।
 
अब सवाल उठता है कि सीवाईएसएस-आइसा पैनल अन्य छात्र संगठनों से अलग कैसे है और क्या वे इस कृत्य की कोई ज़िम्मेदारी लेंगे और कोई कार्यवाही करेंगे।
 
इस तरह का अभियान एक आदर्शवादी गठबंधन के हिसाब से सख्त कार्रवाही का हकदार है। और यह घटना स्पष्ट रूप से दर्शाता है कि दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के छात्र इस अविश्वनीय गठबंधन पर भरोसा नहीं कर सकते क्योंकि यह गठबंधन ईमानदार विकल्प प्रदान नहीं कर सकता है।

It is very disheartening to witness the student organizations violating the moral codes of student politcs. Every year students of delhi university bear the hooliganism and unjust chaos of malpractices by student organizations like NSUI and ABVP.
 
This year CYSS-AISA alliance came into being for DUSU elections with some healthy promises like changing the course of student politics but the scenario of their campaign is just the opposite. Secretary Candidate of CYSS-AISA alliance Mr.Sunny Tanwar was seen flauting luxury cars during his road shows and this was being promoted by them.
 
Now the question arises that how CYSS-AISA panel is diffrent from other student organizations and will they share any responsibility of this misdeed.
 
This deserves an explanation and strict action by the alliance. This act clearly depicts that students of Delhi University cannot rely on this hopeless alliance as this alliance cannot provide an honest alternative.

IIT कानपूर के भूतपूर्व प्रोफेसर और पर्यावरणविद जी०डी० अग्रवाल माँ गंगा की स्वच्छता और बचाव की मांग को लेकर पिछले 112 दिनों से अनशन पर थे। उन्होंने 9 अक्टूबर को जल भी त्याग दिया और उनकी मृत्यु ऋषिकेश में दोपहर एक बजे हो गई। स्वामी सानंद के नाम से जाने जाने वाले प्रोफेसर अग्रवाल 87 वर्ष के हो जाने के बावजूद भी गंगा की स्वच्छता को लेकर लगातार प्रयासरत रहे । स्वामी सानंद गंगा की स्वच्छता की चिंता को लेकर कई बार प्रधानमंत्री मोदी जी को पत्र भी लिख चुके थे।
 
उनकी मांग थी कि गंगा पर बन रही विद्युत परियोजनाओं को निरस्त किया जाय, नई परियोजनाओं को बनने से रोका जाये और गंगा के बचाव को लेकर 2012 में तैयार किये गये ड्राफ्ट पर संसद में गंगा एक्ट लाने की थी। किन्तु इनकी मांगों के प्रति सरकार ने कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया इसलिए वे अनशन पर बैठ गए। 9 अक्टूबर को स्वामी सानंद ने जैसे ही जल का त्याग किया प्रशासन में हड़कंप मच गई और आनन फानन में प्रसाशन ने उन्हें जबरन अनशन से उठा कर उपचार के लिए AIIMS ऋषिकेश में भर्ती करा दिया। जहां उनकी मृत्यु हो गई।
 
आज युथ फ़ॉर स्वराज (Y4S) कानपुर स्वामी सानंद को सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि देने के साथ-साथ सरकार से मांग करता है कि उनके विचारों को अमल में लाये ताकि उनके संघर्षो और बलिदान को न्याय मिल सके।

Y4S संगठन द्वारा आज सरकारी ब्रिजिन्दरा कॉलेज,फ़रीदकोट में पंजाबी यूनिवर्सिटी की लड़कियों के संघर्ष के समर्थन में “पित्तरीसत्ता, लड़कियों की स्थिति और बराबरी का सवाल” विषय पर चर्चा का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें बड़ी गिनती में छात्र-छात्राओं के इलावा प्रो: नरिंदरजीत सिंह बराड़ विशेष तौर पर शामिल हुए और उन्होंने विस्तार से अपनी बात रखने के साथ साथ छात्रों को ऐसे संवाद कार्यकर्मों में लगातारता बनाने की अपील भी की।
 
छात्रों ने जहां पंजाबी यूनिवर्सिटी के संघर्ष व उसकी मांगों के हर पक्ष पर बात रखी वहीं इस सवाल को समाज के हर क्षेत्र में लैंगिक समानता के साथ जोड़ने की ज़रूरत को भी केंद्रीय मुद्दा बनाने की ज़रूरत महसूस की गई।
 
छात्राओं ने एक आवाज़ में कहा कि अगर कोई कहता है कि लड़कियां सुरक्षित नहीं तो वह सोचे कि हमें खतरा आखिर है किससे…और जिनसे खतरा है,काम उनकी मानसिकता बदलने पर होना चाहिए न कि लड़कियों को ही पिंजरे में कैद करना इसका कोई हल है। लड़कियां इस माहौल की पीड़िता हैं,दोषी नहीं। इस सवाल पर लड़के व लड़कियों को एक साथ आकर लम्बे संघर्ष की ज़रूरत है।
 
इसके साथ ही विश्वविद्यालयों में रिसर्च स्कॉलर लड़कियों के साथ कुछ अध्यापकों द्वारा होते शोषण व दलित औरतों के साथ उनकी आर्थिक मजबूरियों का फायदा उठाकर किए जाते बलात्कार जो कभी किसी गिनती में आ ही नहीं पाते जैसे सवालों को भी छुआ गया।
 
यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज संगठन लगातार सीधे तौर पर युवाओं से जुड़े व समाज के अन्य सवालों को लेकर पंजाब भर के शिक्षा संस्थानों में जा रहा है जिसको छात्र व युवा भरपूर हुंगारा दे रहे हैं। विचार निर्माण व संघर्षों के काम में हम और तेज़ी लाएंगे ताकि युवाओं को भविष्य की चुनौतियों का सामना करने के लिए तैयार किया जा सके और हम समानता आधारित समाज सृजन की और बढ़ सकें।

स्वराज इंडिया के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष योगेंद्र यादव ने MDU के छात्रों को बताया की हमारे देश का “स्वधर्म” आज खतरे में हैI उन्होंने कहा की लोकतंत्र, विविधता और अंतिम व्यक्ति का विकास हमारे देश का स्वधर्म हैI आज की राजसत्ता हमारे आजादी के आंदोलन की इन विरासत को एक-एक कर ध्वस्त कर रही हैI सरकार से असहमति रखने वाले को देशद्रोही या नक्सल कह कर जेल में बंद कर दिया जा रहा है I नागरिकता अधिनियम में संसोधन कर नागरिकता पाने के मानदंड को धर्म के आधार पर किया जा रहा है I 1947 में हमने जिन विचारों को सिरे से ख़ारिज कर दिया था आज उसे फिर से जीवित करने का प्रयास चल रहा है I याद रहे इसी विचार ने पाकिस्तान का जन्म दिया था I अंतिम व्यक्ति को विकास पहुँचने की वजाय कुछ करोबारिओं को बेहताशा फायदा पहुँचाया जा रहा है I
 
छात्रों के सवालों का योगेंद्र ने खुल कर जबाब दिया I एक सवाल के जबाब में उन्होंने कहा की स्वधर्म बचाने की लड़ाई 2019 के चुनाव में BJP या महागठबंधन के जितने या हारने से नहीं जीता जा सकता I उसके लिए किसान आंदोलन, युवा आंदोलन तथा दूसरे आंदोलनों के जरिये एक नई राजनीतिक धारा बनाने की जरुरत हैI यही धारा “स्वधर्म” को फिर से स्थापित कर सकती है I उन्होंने युवाओं को आगे आ कर आज के चुनौतियों से सामना करने और राजनीति में आने का आह्वान किया I

यूथ फॉर स्वराज (Y4S) और सेंट स्टीफेंस कॉलेज की लीडरशिप सेल ने मिलकर दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के सेंट स्टीफेंस कॉलेज में “इंडिया दैट इज भारत” कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। इस कार्यक्रम का विषय था वर्तमान का कृषि संकट और युवाओं की भागीदारी। कृषि और ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के जानकार पी. साईनाथ और स्वराज इंडिया के संस्थापक योगेन्द्र यादव ने छात्रों को संबोधित किया। कार्यक्रम में DU के विभिन्न कॉलेज से सैकड़ों युवाओं ने भाग लिया। इस दौरान तालाश भारत की…. अभियान के प्रतिभागियों को प्रमाण पत्र भी बांटे गये। हंसराज कॉलेज की कोमल सिंघल और किरोड़ी मल कॉलेज के रोहित यादव ने इस इंटर्नशिप कार्यक्रम के दौरान गाँव में रहने के अपने अनुभव साझा किये।
 
कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए पी साईनाथ ने देश में बढती आर्थिक विषमता और कृषि संकट पर विस्तार से अपनी बात रखी। मौके पर उन्होने कहा की खेती-किसानी का मौजूदा संकट ऐतिहासिक रूप से बड़ा और गहरा है। दशकों से बनायीं जाती रही किसान विरोधी नीतियों का परिणाम है कि आज किसान हाशिये पर धकेल दिया गया है। देश भर में किसान आत्महत्या करने पर मजबूर है।
 
कार्यक्रम के दूसरे वक्ता और स्वराज इंडिया और जय किसान आन्दोलन के संस्थापक योगेन्द्र यादव ने अपने संबोधन में कहा की गाँव-खेत का सवाल महज किसान की आजीविका का सवाल नहीं है बल्कि यह हमारी सभ्यता और मानवता का भी सवाल है। एक सभ्य समाज अपने अन्नदाता के प्रति इतना असंवेदनशील कैसे हो सकता है? आज भारतीय कृषि आर्थिक, पारिस्थितिक और अस्तित्व के संकट का सामना कर रही है। उन्होने युवाओं को देश भर में चल रहे किसान आन्दोलनों से जुड़ने की अपील की। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा की खेती किसानी के इस अभूतपूर्व संकट के पीछे राजनीति एक मुख्य वजह है। सभी सरकारों और राजनैतिक पार्टियों ने किसानों को ठगने और धोखा देने का काम किया है। दशकों से किसानों की अनदेखी और गाँव की उपेक्षा की जाती रही है। गाँव के श्रम और संसाधनों का इस्तेमाल कर शहरों का विकास किया जा रहा है। अब सरकार खेती-किसानी भी छिनकर कॉर्पोरेट को सौपना चाहती है.
 
कार्यक्रम के अंत में पी साईनाथ और योगेन्द्र यादव ने दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी के युवा छात्रों से आगामी 30 नवम्बर को होने वाले किसान आंदोलन में सक्रिय रूप से जुड़ने की अपील की जिसमे देश के कोने-कोने से बड़ी संख्या में किसान दिल्ली की तरफ कूच करेंगे।

स्वराज इंडिया के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष योगेंद्र यादव ने MDU के छात्रों से बातचीत में बताया की हर युग का एक युगधर्म होता है और आज के युग का युगधर्म है “राजनीति”। एक सवाल के जवाब में उन्होंने कहा की राजनीति का मतलब सिर्फ चुनाव लड़ना नहीं है बल्कि समाजिक मुद्दों पर संघर्ष करना, समाज में रचनात्मक कार्य करना, विचार निर्माण का कार्य और खुद का निर्माण करना। उन्होंने कहा की हम ऐसी ही राजनीति को देश में स्थापित कर रहे हैं।
 
चाहे शराब का सवाल हो या महिलाओं के प्रति हमारे समाज की दृष्टि हर सवाल के ऊपर काफी बेबाकी से चर्चा हुई। कार्यक्रम के अंत में योगेंद्र ने युवाओं से कहा की आज देश के सामने जो चुनौतियां हैं उसपे सिर्फ बात करने से काम नहीं चलेगा। बल्कि युवाओं को आगे आ कर इन चुनौतियों का सामना करना होगा। कुछ नहीं तो सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से समाज में चल रहे झूठे प्रोपेगंडा को काटा जा सके।

Under its campaign #DUforFarmers, Youth for Swaraj, in collaboration with Delhi School of Social Work Students Union, organised a discussion on ‘Decoding Agrarian Crisis: Challenges and possibilities’, in which Jai Kisan Andolan National Convenor and organisation secretary, AIKSCC Avik Saha was the guest speaker.
 
In a highly engaging talk, Avik Saha narrated the gripping story of his journey from that of a corporate lawyer to an activist-politician. Mahesh, a short story by Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay, has had a deep and abiding impact on his life and subsequent career. He said that as a corporate lawyer, he got an opportunity to understand the other side of the story.
 
Recalling the story of Gaffur Mian, he talked about present Agrarian crisis and termed it as a national crisis. He explained how the food security of India is threatened and how this is a threat to internal security of nation. He also talked about the organization like WTO which is playing a key role in economic slavery of countries like india.He also pointed out that the fate of farmers and agriculture remained unchanged all the three phases of monarchy, colonialism and democracy.
 
Students responded resoundingly to Avik Saha’s invitation to students of Delhi University to volunteer in the upcoming Kisan March scheduled on 30th of November, 2018.

* ‘तलाश भारत की..’ अभियान के जरिये ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को समझने गाँव की ओर आ रहे हैं युवा।

3 जून से शुरू हो रहे अगले चरण में मध्य प्रदेश, बिहार, राजस्थान, हरियाणा व महाराष्ट्र के गाँव जायेंगे प्रतिभागी।
 
एक ऐसे समय में जब कृषि संकट देश का एक महत्वपूर्ण राजनीतिक मुद्दा बन चुका है, यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज (Y4S) ने इस संकट को समझने और उसके हल को लेकर एक अनूठी पहल की है। लगातार दो वर्षों तक सफलता पूर्वक ‘ड्रॉट ड्यूटी’ अभियान चलाने के बाद इस वर्ष यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज (Y4S) ने ‘तलाश भारत की.. ‘ अभियान की शुरुआत की, जिसके तहत देश भर के विश्वविद्यालयों के विद्यार्थियों का तीन दल अब तक गंगानगर(राजस्थान), बुंदेलखंड(मध्यप्रदेश) व बीड(महाराष्ट्र) के गाँव की यात्रा कर चुके हैं।
 
गंगानगर, राजस्थान :
 
जहाँ एक तरफ युवजनों में वास्तविक स्थिति से परिचित होने का संतोष था तो दूसरी ओर व्याप्त कुव्यवस्था व बदहाली को देखकर क्षोभ भी था। विकास के बड़े-बड़े दावों में उन्हें भारी खोखलेपन का एहसास हुआ। वे मनरेगा मजदूरों से भी मिले, 33जीजी व आसपास के गाँवों में सर्वेक्षण भी किया। ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था की समझ बनाने के लिए उन्होंनें किसानों की लागत व मिलने वाले मूल्य का गणन किया। उन्हें यह तथ्य अचंभित कर देने वाला लगा की किसानों की आमदनी लगभग न के बराबर है और उन्हें एहसास हुआ की किसानों को उनकी फसल का MSP मिलना कितना आवश्यक है।
 
विद्यार्थियों ने उस इलाके के पानी के प्रमुख श्रोत वहां की नहरों में बह रहे प्रदूषित पानी का भी जायजा लिया। पंजाब के कुछ शुगर उद्योगों द्वारा दूषित पानी नहरों में छोड़ दिया जाता है, जो किसान के खेतों से होते हुए हमारी खाद्य श्रृंखला का हिस्सा बन चुका है। असंख्य बार किसानों ने प्रशासन का ध्यान इस ओर खींचने की कोशिश की पर प्रशासन ने कोई ध्यान नहीं दिया I लगता है जब तक तमिलनाडु जैसी कोई दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण घटना ना घाट जाए सरकार और प्रशाशन का ध्यान इस ओर नहीं जायेगा I
 
छत्तरपुर, मध्यप्रदेश :
 
सूखे से प्रभावित रहने वाला बुंदेलखंड इस वर्ष भी सूखाग्रस्त है। ’18वीं और 19वीं सदी के दौरान बुंदेलखंड में हर 16 साल बाद सूखे का दौर आता था और तत्कालीन चंदेल वंशज के राजाओं ने इससे निपटने के लिए कई पोखर तालाब बनाये थे। लेकिन 1968 से 1992 के बीच सूखे की अवधि में तीन गुने का इज़ाफा हुआ है। इसकी सबसे करारी मार 25 फीसदी दलित और आदिवासी तबके पर पड़ी है ।
 
आप जैसे ही टीकमगढ़ से निकलकर छतरपुर की ओर बढ़ेंगे, आपको सड़क के दोनों तरफ खड़खड़ाते क्रेशर और उड़ती धूल नजर आएगी। एक समय बुंदेलखंड का 37 पीसदी से बड़ा इलाका बियाबान था। यहां की पहाड़ियां लंबे, ऊंचे’ पेड़ों से ढंकी थी। आज इस छेत्र में अधिकतम और न्यूनतम तापमान में आया बदलाव असल में तेजी से खत्म होते जंगलों के कारण है। ये जंगल धरती के लाखों वर्षों के विकास क्रम का नतीजा है। ये जंगल बारिश को खींचते हैं। पेड़ के हर पत्ते में पानी संग्रहित होता है। सूर्य की किरणें जब इन पर पड़ती है तो प्रकाश संश्लेषण की क्रिया के साथ ही वाष्पीकरण भी होता ‘ है। यह पारे की चाल पर लगाम लगाता है। छात्रों ने पाया की सूखे से निपटने के लिए स्वदेशी तकनीक की तरफ रुख करने की जरुरत है, बुंदेलखंड में सरकार पेड़ लगा कर नहीं बच सकती उससे जंगल विकसित करने होंगे। तालाब और नदी नालों को पुनर्जीवित करना होगा। अवैध खनन रोकना होगा। बुंदेलखंड की ये दशा प्राकृतिक नहीं, मानव द्वारा रचित है।
 
बुंदेलखंड पैकेज के सहारे बने सूखे कुओं और मंडिओं को भी देखाI विद्यार्थिओं को यह जान कर आश्चर्य हुआ की जब बुंदेलखंड सूखे की मार झेल रहा था तो सरकार करोड़ों रूपये मंडिओं के निर्माण पर लगा रही थी I बाल-मजदूरी इलाके के लिए आम है तो वहीँ शिक्षा व्यवस्था विल्कुल वेहाल है। ग्रामीणों को स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के लिए भी कर्ज लेना पड़ता है और सरकार द्वारा उपलब्ध स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के नितान्त अभाव के कारण मूलभूत स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं के लिए भी शहर जाना पड़ता है। मनरेगा मजदूरों को का जॉब कार्ड तो बना हुआ परन्तुं उसके तहत मिलने वाला काम नदारथ हैं I राशन कार्ड अधिकांश लोगों को प्राप्त है कमोवेश राशन भी मिल जाता हैI विद्यार्थियों ने पाया की अगर सरकार इस इलाके के पर्यावरण संकट को दूर करने के तुरंत उपाय नहीं करती है तो कुछ दिनों में यह इलाका रहने लायक नहीं रह पाएगा।
 
परली, महाराष्ट्र :
 
इस इलाके में पानी का संकट सबसे गंभीर है जिसका असर ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था पर साफ़-साफ़ दीखता हैI गंभीर जल संकट के कारण कृषि की उत्पादकता बेहद कम है। पानी फाउंडेशन और ग्लोबल परली द्वारा इलाके के जल संकट को दूर करने का किया जा रहा प्रयास सराहनीय है। जल संरक्षण में स्वस्थ्य प्रतिस्पर्धा विकसित करने के लिए वाटर कप का आयोजन किया जा रहा जा है। चेक डैम, ग्राउंड पीट, नदिओं का चौड़ीकरण, Alternative Cropping तथा वाटर बजट जैसे मुहीम सरकारी, निजी और सामूहिक सहयोग का अनूठा उदाहरण पेश कर रहा है ।
 
इलाके में मनरेगा में दी जाने वाली मजदूरी बेहद कम होने के कारण (यथा ₹100 – ₹150) कोई मनरेगा के लिए काम नहीं करना चाहता। संगठित क्षेत्रों में नौकरियों के भारी अभाव के कारण नौकरियों को लेकर सामूहिक निराशा का भाव है। हालांकि उच्च शिक्षा का मौका और उनकी गुणवत्ता भी युवाओं में नौकरी के मौके को धूमिल करता है। बीटी कॉटन की फसल में कीड़े का लगना इस हाइब्रिड बीज और उसे विकसित करने वाली कम्पनिओं के ऊपर सवाल खड़े कर रहा है I लोगों को प्रधानमंत्री फसल बीमा योजना की कोई जानकारी नहीं है, अतः कम लोग इसका फायदा ले पा रहे हैं । अत्यधिक जटिल कागजी प्रक्रिया के कारण 1 लाख तक के कर्ज़ की माफी की सरकार की घोषणा का लाभ किसान नहीं उठा पा रहे हैं। स्वच्छ भारत योजना के बावजूद, गाँव में जल संकट के कारण सैनिटेशन की अनदेखी होती दिख रही थी I
 
यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज (Y4S) की यह अनूठी पहल देश के उन इलाकों में जाकर वहाँ की समझ विकसित करने से संबंधित है जो इलाके महानगरीय कल्पना से भी बाहर हैं पर जो आज भी हिन्दुस्तान का अभिन्न व विशाल हिस्सा हैं। इसके बावजूद कि विद्यार्थी अपने किताबों में पढ़ते हैं कि असल भारत गाँवों में रहता है और कृषि इस देश का मेरुदंड है, वो अपने दैनिक जीवन में इतने मशगूल हैं कि उन्हें अपने ही देश में रहने वाले लोगों के अस्तित्व-मात्र का भी बोध नहीं रहता I यह बढ़ती संवेदनहीनता और भारत व इंडिया के बीच की बढ़ती दूरी गंभीर परिणामों को जन्म दे रही है और इस बढ़ती खाई को अविलंब पाटने की जरूरत है। हालांकि वर्तमान की मुख्यधारा की राजनीति और उसकी चिंताओं और कृत्यों को देखते हुए उससे इस गंभीर समस्या के हल के लिए कदम उठाने की आशा करना नितान्त बेईमानी हैI ऐसे में वैकल्पिक राजनीति खड़ा करने में प्रयासरत लोगों की यह जिम्मेदारी बनती है कि वो सार्थक प्रयास करें।
 
संक्षेप में, ‘तलाश भारत की… ‘ अभियान की शुरुआत देश के शहरी व ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों के बीच बढ़ती दूरी व आपसी समझ की कमी को दूर करने के लिए की गई है। ग्रामीण व शहरी क्षेत्रों के बीच बढ़ती खाई युवजनों के मन में उनकी जड़ों, उनकी पहचान, उनके राष्ट्रीय अस्मिता व देश की दिशा को लेकर संशय उत्पन्न कर रही है। वैकल्पिक राजनीति के सपने को लेकर आगे बढ़ रहे नव गठित छात्र-युवा संगठन यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज (Y4S) द्वारा इस अभियान के माध्यम से इसी खाई को पाटने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इस प्रोग्राम के तहत छात्र-छात्रा 8 से 10 लोगों के समूह में सात दिनों तक एक गाँव में रहते हैं, ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था व कृषि संकट की समझ बढ़ाने के साथ-साथ ग्रामीण संस्कृति को भी समझते हैं और सरकारी योजनाओं का भी मूल्यांकन करते हैं।
 
यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज (Y4S) रचनात्मक राजनीति द्वारा राष्ट्र निर्माण को लेकर प्रतिबद्ध है और अपनी पूरी ऊर्ज़ा वैकल्पिक राजनीति के लिए नेतृत्व तैयार करने में लगा रहा है।
 

 
‘तलाश भारत की..’ अभियान के जरिये ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को समझने गाँव की ओर आ रहे हैं युवा।
 
* Urban youngsters visit rural India to get a first hand experience of the urban-rural divide.
 
* 1st phase of the program gets over, 2nd phase starts from June 3 where villages in Haryana, Bihar, MP, Rajasthan will be covered.
 
* Keen interest being shown by youth from all parts of the country in bridging the gap between India and Bharat.
 
At a time when the nation is politically heated up on the issue of agrarian crisis in rural India, new politics finds its way. Youth For Swaraj’s program ‘Talash Bharat Ki..’ successfully completes Round 1 of its phase. As part of the innovative initiative, students across the country visited Bundelkhand region in Madhya Pradesh, Ganganagar in Rajasthan and Parli in Maharashtra. Here is a brief report from the various centres.
 
Ganganagar, Rajasthan :
 
Understanding and assessing the real ground situation by experiencing it’s first hand, facts and grim situation witnessed by the students were alarming. They witnessed some serious flaws in government’s big claims of development. They visited the sites of MNREGA workers, surveyed both households and village overall. 33GG village in Ganganagar, participating students asked about the MSP of farmers and not so shockingly no one could say that they got the MSP price on their produces. The Poisonous Canal : Students reported that there is a poisonous canal because of industrial waste into it by some sugar mills which enters the fields of the farmers, kills fishes in the canals and it enters our food chain. This has been completely ignored by the administration. It seems like unless there is a mishap like Tamil Nadu, the attention of the government and the administration will not go towards it.
 
Chattarpur, Madhya Pradesh :
 
Bundelkhand, which is one of the most heated and dried regions of our country, is also drought-affected this year. During the 18th and 19th centuries, there was a period of drought every 16 years in Bundelkhand and the kings of the then Chandel dynasty had made several puddle ponds to deal with it. But between 1968 and 1992, drought has increased three times. It has mostly affected 25 percent of the Dalit and tribal people living there. Due to scarcity of drinking water it was seen that from senior citizens to young students, they were forced to travel a long way.
 
As soon as we get out of Tikamgarh and move towards Chhattarpur, you will see rocks, craters and flying dust on both sides of the road. At one time there was a big area of Bundelkhand from 37 Padiyans. The hills were covered with tall, tall trees. Today, the change in maximum and minimum temperatures in this area is due to the rapidly ending forests. This forest is the result of the development order of millions of years on Earth. These jungle draws rain. Water is stored in every leaf of the tree. When the rays of the sun fall on them, there will also be evaporation along with the action of photosynthesis’. It binds the move of Mercury. Students found that to cope with the drought, there is a need to move towards indigenous technology, in Bundelkhand the government can not survive by planting trees, it will have to develop the forest. The ponds and river drains have to be revived. Illegal mining must be stopped. This condition of Bundelkhand is not natural, composed by humans.
 
Participants were surprised to know that when Bundelkhand was hit by drought, the government was spending millions of rupees on the construction of the mandis. Villagers also have to take loans for health services and due to the lack of adequate health services available by the government, they also have to go to the city for basic health services. MNREGA laborers have a Job Card but the work they get under are not available. Ration cards are also available to most people. Students get it. Students found that if the government does not take immediate measures to overcome the environmental crisis in this area So, in some days this area will not be worth living. If the government wont help the people or act on this environmental crisis soon this area wont be worth living.
 
Parli, Maharshtra :
 
The water crisis in this area is the most serious, the effect of which clearly shows on the rural economy. Due to serious water crisis, the productivity of agriculture is very low. The effort being made to remove the water crisis in the area by the Paani Foundation of Aamir Khan and Global Parli lead by Mayank Gandhi is commendable. A water cup is being organized to develop health competition in water conservation. The campaign like Check Dam, Ground Peat, Widening of rivers, Alternative Cropping and Water Budget is presenting a unique example of government, private and collective cooperation.
 
Due to the very low wages given in MNREGA in the area (such as ₹ 100 – 150) no one wants to work for MNREGA. Due to the huge lack of jobs in organized areas, there is a sense of collective frustration over jobs. However, the chance of higher education and their quality also dampen job opportunities among the youth. BT cotton crop, the hybrid seeds and the companies that are developing it are responsible for destruction of many fields which planted it. People are not aware about the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojna, so only few people are taking advantage of it rest all goes to the insurance companies. Farmers are not able to get the benefit of the Government’s announcement of the debt waive off upto 1 lakh due to excessive complex paperwork. Despite the Swachh Bharat scheme, due to the water crisis in the village, sanitation was being ignored.
 
This initiative by Y4S is is about visiting and through that developing an understanding of those parts of our country, which remain neglected in our popular metropolitan culture but continue to form major part of what we call as India. Despite the fact that youth in their student lives still get to read that the real India live in villages and agriculture forms the bedrock of our country; the truth remains that they remain so engrossed in their daily lives that they hardly bother to care about these fellow Indians and this loss of sensitivity and growing gap between these two parts of ‘Bharat’ is resulting in many dire consequences in all dimensions. While the Politics is the tool to address this concern, but the way our political culture and class has come to behave in case of tackling these real issues, it has become imperative to deal with these for those who claim to make efforts in pursuit of changing the fundamentals in which politics is practiced. According to student’s reports of their survey at least 80% of farmers have incurred huge losses this year and due to this loss large nos of immigration is taking place in Bundelkhand.
 
So, to say in a line, the need for तलाश भारत की has emerged out of growing disconnection and lack of mutual understanding and concern between rural and urban parts of our country; the absence of which is responsible for increasing ‘uncertainties’ in growing minds about our roots, identity, nationhood and the direction which our country should undertake in future and is a part of the larger context of ‘alternative politics’. Thus, under this campaign, applicants are visiting and staying in rural parts for a week and are trying to build an understanding of the ongoing agrarian crisis in particular and the rural lifestyle in general and will assess the truth of government policies.
 
Youth For Swaraj (Y4S) believes in constructive politics towards nation building and hence is putting its energy to groom the youth and prepare them for a long haul of new politics.

With an aim to bridge the urban-rural divide and connecting Young India with farmers and rural populations of the country, Youth For Swaraj with Jai Kisan Andolan has successfully launched its project for the year 201 i.e. ‘Talash Bharat Ki’. This is third year in a row that Swaraj Abhiyan, has been working extensively in the rural areas, accomplished the vital cause.
 
Students from 15 states and 139 DIstricts ranging from Kerala to Jammu & Kashmir and from Gujarat to Assam, have applied for this campaign cum internship program.
 
Talash Bharat Ki.. is a unique attempt at bringing together the farmers & the students – two unrelated yet both significant segments. In this program, youth from all over India will visit the farmers in their own piece of land, & experience the ground realities of producing food-grain. It began last year under the initiative of Youth For Swaraj and Jai Kisan Andolan. It is designed for young people to take action for rural crisis and agrarian crisis in affected areas. The program has 10 centres all over the country where the students will be sent in batches from 25th May to 30th June.
 
The overwhelming response of 625 applications nationwide, at a short notice of few weeks, for coming forward and helping their fellow Indians is an assurance that the urban and rural divide can be dissolved. Students are ready to face the scorching sun and undertake activities like disseminate information, conduct a survey, map water resources, etc. Students participating in this program will have to present a creative report after they understand the rural crisis depending upon their observation. This report will be a mirror or reflection of much claimed development in our country.
 
Each Batch of students will be lead by Youth4Swaraj members who will visit villages which do not have minimum basic needs. The interns will live the same life as local villagers to understand the exact problems faced by villagers every day. This campaign is to reveal the reality of working strategy of Indian government which is not so beneficial in upraising the conditions of villagers. The government is passing new schemes for the people but they aren’t getting proper benefits. Proper measures are not being taken to inform the local people about these schemes. The drought duty teams will work to connect local people with government officials to solve temporary problems of the village.
 
The aim of the project is to sensitise the urban youth with the conditios of drought and to make them understand the situation of Indian villages. This program will fill the hearts with such experience which is bound to change your fundamental beliefs about our society, country and life.

Present form of student politics has become completely rotten : Youth For Swaraj
 
A yet another controversy and reported clashes between the students of two organizations inside the campus of JNU has once again brought to the surface outdatedness and hollowness of the so-called flag-bearers of ideology politics.While there are allegations being made about on each other from both sides, the whole incident points singularly in the direction of how our current student politics has distanced itself from the real issues of student interests and making a constructive contribution towards the cause of idea-creation and society.
 
While university campuses are meant to be the places of debate, discussion and dissent; the so called current ideological guards have turned them into the mirror reflecting all the ill-elements of society from open and unchecked (by administration)hooliganism to spreading the fake communal agenda; all in the name of ideology. While Youth4Swaraj isn’t commenting on the merits of the recent clash, we firmly opine that the present form of student politics has become completely rotten and the common students have become frustrated of it. In such a scenario, when there is an urgent need for pronouncing the interests and aspirations of youth of the country, the incapability of the presently established organizations has created a void that needs to be filled by a fresh approach combining the interests of common students and freeing the political discussions from the cage of expired ideas of twentieth century. And Youth4Swaraj is commitedly working towards filling this space.
 

 
विचारधारा के कठोर बंधन ने और छात्र राजनीति के अक्षमताओं ने एक शून्य को जन्म दिया है : यूथ फॉर स्वराज
 
जेएनयू परिसर में दो छात्र संगठनों के संघर्ष और आपसी मुठभेड़ से उपजी तनातनी की एक और खबर ने एक बार फिर से हमारे तथाकथित ‘विचारधारा के ध्वजवाहकों’ के खोखलेपन को सतह पर लाने का काम किया है। जबकि इस घटना पर दोनों पक्षों की तरफ से एक-दूसरे पर आरोप-प्रत्यारोप की वही पुरानी कहानी दोहराई जा रही है, निरंतर दोहराये जा रहे ऐसे मामले इस बात की बानगी देते हैं कि वर्तमान छात्र राजनीति ने अपने छात्र हितों से संबंधित मुद्दों को उठाने और नए विचारों के निर्माण में अग्रणी भूमिका निभाने के अपने बुनियादी काम से खुद को परे कर लिया है। जबकि विश्वविद्यालय परिसर स्वस्थ चर्चा और बहस की जगह होते हैं, हमारे तथाकथित विचारधारा के संरक्षकों की कारगुजारियों ने इन्हें तमाम असामाजिक और निचले किस्म की राजनीति करने का गढ़ बना दिया है।
 
यूथ4स्वराज एक जिम्मेवार संगठन होने का फर्ज निभाते हुए इस मुद्दे की मेरिट्स पर टिप्पणी करने से बचते हुए अपना ये स्पष्ट मत रखता है कि वर्तमान स्वरूप में छात्र राजनीति पूरी तरह से दूषित हो चुकी है और आम छात्र इससे बुरी तरह हतोत्साहित हैं। इस परिदृश्य में जहाँ एक ओर युवा भारत के हितों और आकांक्षाओं की आवाज को पुरजोर करने की आवश्यकता है, ऐसे में वर्तमान में स्थापित छात्र संगठनों की भटकी प्राथमिकताओं और उनकी अक्षमताओं ने एक शून्य को जन्म दिया है जिसको केवल एक नई सोच के द्वारा भरा जा सकता है जो छात्र-केंद्रित हो और जो राजनीतिक विमर्श को बीसवीं सदी के मृत विचारों के पिंजरे से बाहर निकालकर एक नई दिशा देने की ओर प्रतिबद्ध हो। और यूथ4स्वराज निरंतर इसी उद्देश्य के साथ समर्पित रूप से कार्य करने में जुटा है।

At a time when we feel that the youth of the country stands isolated, you surprise us with hope. But on 24th March, as you were covering the police brutalities on the protesting JNU students, we, the youth were not there to stand by your side. While we ask you to stand by us, we let you walk alone. We shouldn’t have.
 
But here we are, overwhelmed by the fourth pillar of democracy standing united against the autocratic attitude of the State that refuses to listen to the voice of sanity. Every time you stand united, you uphold our faith in the strength of this country’s democracy.
 
For weeks, we protested outside the CGO complex, but the State wouldn’t respond. And even when it did, they would turn out to be half-hearted hollow responses. You were the ones who gave us visibility. And for that, we are grateful to you.
 
We, the youth of the country, stand by you in this moment of struggle. No democracy can sustain itself if the independence of its mind is curbed or when its pen is held a hostage. History has shown that whenever such an unholy effort is made, the pen has emerged mightier. It has created historic movements which have brought the autocratic states to their knees.
 
Youth​ for ​Swaraj salutes you all for the courage you have shown yet again today, and promises to stand by you in every struggle to ensure a fair and free democracy. We might have been missing in action on that fateful day, but in spirit we stand with you and in actions, we will.

जब भी इस देश के युवा को लगा है कि वह अपने संघर्ष में अकेला खड़ा है, तब तब आपने हमें अचंभित किया है. जा दिल्ली पुलिस जे एन यु के छात्रों पर बर्बरता दिखा रही थी, आप हमारे साथ मजबूती से खड़े थे, जिसका खामियाजा आपको भी भुगतना पड़ा. और आज जब आप अपने पर हुई इस बर्बरता का विरोध कर रहे थे, शांतिपूर्ण मार्च कर रहे थे, तब हम आपके साथ नहीं थे. हम बस भूल गए!
 
लेकिन आज जैसे हमने पाने लोकतंत्र के चौथे स्तम्भ को निरंकुश शासन के विरुद्ध मजबूती से खड़े देखा, उस से हम युवाओं को हौंसला मिला . आपने एक कर दिखाया! और जब जब हम आप सबको एक-मुठ देखते हैं, हमारे लोकतंत्र में हमारा विश्वास और बलशाली होता है.
 
हम कई हफ्ते सी जी ओ काम्प्लेक्स के बाहर खड़े रहे, प्रशासन ने तो हमारी आवाज़ सुनी ही नहीं, लेकिन आपने हमारी आवाज़ देशभर को सुनायी. इसके लिए और ऐसी हर लड़ाई में आपके साथ के हम आभारी हैं!
 
हम, देश के युवा, आपके संघर्ष में आपके साथ खड़े हैं. हमारा दृढ़ विश्वास है की दुनिया का कोई भी लोकतंत्र विचार की आजादी के बिना सांस भी नहीं ले सकता. इतिहास गवाह है कि जब जब ऐसी कोई भी कोशिश की गयी है, कलम और मज़बूत हो उभरी है. कलम ने शब्दों से बुद्धि के आन्दोलन खड़े किये हैं जिन्होंने निरंकुश शःसकों को मात दी है.

नव गठित युवा-छात्र संगठन यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज (Y4S) द्वारा आयोजित “युवा,राजनीति और आज का युगधर्म “विषय पर युवाओं से संवाद में आज स्वराज इंडिया के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष योगेन्द्र यादव ने पटना विश्वविद्यालय के पटना साइंस कालेज में युवाओं से संवाद किया।
 
कार्यक्रम में योगेन्द्र यादव ने युवाओं से आज की परिस्थितियों को देखते हुए राजनीति में आगे आने ओर महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाने की जरूरत पर बल दिया।
 
छात्रों से संवाद के दौरान योगेन्द्र यादव ने कहा कि हर युग का अपना धर्म होता है जिसके आस-पास अन्य चीजें घटित होती है,इस युग का धर्म राजनीति है।
 
आज स्वधर्म खतरे में है,स्वधर्म क्या है? डेमोक्रेसी,डाइवर्सिटी और डेवलपमेंट का आइडिया ही आज का स्वधर्म है। पहली बार इन तीनों विचारों पर एक साथ खतरा है। इन विचारों पर हमला देश की मूल बुनियाद पर हमला है,भारत पर हमला है। भारत की पहचान और निर्मिति इन्हीं विचारों से हुई है। आज देश में ऐसी कोई शक्ति नहीं है जो सिर्फ देश के बारें में सोच रही हो। सब अपने-अपने तुच्छ स्वार्थों में लगे हुए है।देश के स्वधर्म पर जो हमला है उसे रोकने की लड़ाई राजनीति के कुरूक्षेत्र में लड़ा जाएगा। यह लड़ाई आप युवाओं को ही लड़नी पड़ेगी। इतिहास गवाह है कि परिवर्तन युवाओं के रास्ते से ही आयी है।
 
किसानों और युवाओं की समस्या को संबोधित करते हुए स्वराज इंडिया (पार्टी) अध्यक्ष योगेंद्र यादव ने कहा कि आज किसान और युवा दोनों सड़क पर है।राजनीति में आज अपराधिक तत्वों की भरमार है।ऐसे लोगों को बाहर का रास्ता दिखाने के लिए युवाओं को और राजनीतिक संतो को राजनीति में आना ही होगा। शिक्षा का सवाल हो या बेरोजगारी का सवाल हो या महिला सुरक्षा अगर इन सवालों.पर राजनीति नहीं होगी तो इनमें सुधार नहीं होगा।आज देश को राजनीतिक साधु की जरूरत है और ये साधु संसद से नहीं आएगी बल्कि यूनिवर्सिटी और कालेज से आएगा,गाँवो और कस्बों से आएंगे।
 
कार्यक्रम के अंत में योगेंद्र यादव ने देश की राजनीति में बदलाव के लिए युवाओं से उनके बहुमूल्य दो साल की मांग की।
 
सभा को संबोधित करते हुए यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष मनीष कुमार ने कहा कि पिछले कुछ सालों में यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज युवाओं के बीच में विचार निर्माण, रचनात्मक कार्य और संघर्ष के जरिये नए तरह के नेतृत्व निर्माण का काम कर रहा। यही नेतृत्व भविष्य में नई राजनीतिक विचारधारा का वाहक बनेगा।
 
योगेंद्र यादव के आह्वान के बाद भारी मात्रा में छात्रों ने यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज से जुड़ने की इच्छा जताई।
 
कार्यक्रम के बाद योगेंद्र यादव एसएससी में धांधली के खिलाफ़ संघर्ष कर रहे छात्रों से भी मिले। उन्होंनें उनके जज़्बे को सलाम करते हुए उनका उत्साहवर्धन किया। इस आंदोलन में राष्ट्रीय राजनीति के ढ़र्रे को बदलने की क्षमता में है, यह कहते हुए उन्होंनें छात्रों को अपना आंदोलन जारी रखने को प्रेरित किया।
 
Youth For Swaraj, a newly formed youth organization organised a Youth Dialogue on the topic ‘Youth and Politics’ today in Patna Science College, in which a large number of students conducted a dialogue with Swaraj India National President Yogendra Yadav. Addressing the students, he sopke about three swadharmas of India and the unprecedented nature of the threats we face. These ideas are: democracy, diversity and development. It’s for the first time that these three are under direct and simultaneous attack. This is an attack at the very root of India. So its our Swadharma to save the very Idea of India.
 
Today, there is no force in the country which thinks holistically about India.The attack on India’s swadharmas will be fought in the battlefield of politics.
 
Today, farmer and youth are on roads. If goons and criminals have entered politics, then saints too will have to enter politics. Be it the question of unemployment or education or women security, if there will be no politics on these issues, reforms won’t be possible. Today, the country needs political saints. These saints won’t come from parliament but from colleges and universities, from villages and small towns. Yogendra Yadav’s appeal to both student and non-student youth was to come forward and contribute two years of their life for nation building.
 
Addressing the gathering, National President of Youth For Swaraj, Manish Kumar said, “Youth For Swaraj has been engaged in building a new kind of leadership for the nation by nurturing thought, creating work and struggle. He expressed hope that this very leadership will usher in a new political culture in future”.
 
Responding to Yogendra Yadav’s stirring call, many students came forward to join Youth For Swaraj to contribute to Nation building.
 
Yogendra Yadav also visited the students protesting against the corruption in SSC. He saluted their fight against injustice. He also said that this struggle has the seeds of transforming the national politics of India, encouraging them to take their struggle forward.

रोज़गार का वादा पूरा करे प्रधानमंत्री, युवाओं को पकौड़ी तलने के सुझाव न दें: बजट से अपेक्षा

आम बजट से ठीक एक दिन पहले दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के युवाओं ने यूथ फॉर स्वराज (Y4S) के बैनर तले बेरोज़गारी के गंभीर मुद्दे पर प्रकाश डालने के लिए कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया। “पकौड़ी में फंसा युवा भविष्य” के नाम से हुए इस कार्यक्रम में युवाओं ने अपने अनिश्चित भविष्य को लेकर सरकार से सीधे सवाल किये और आम बजट से अपनी अपेक्षाओं को साझा किया। साथ ही, प्रधानमंत्री मोदी द्वारा एक टीवी साक्षात्कार में दिए गए सुझाव के अनुसार युवाओं ने पकौड़े तलना सीखकर अपना कौशल विकास भी किया।
 
कार्यक्रम में युवाओं ने खुद पकौड़े तलकर बेचे। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी द्वारा बड़े तामझाम से घोषित किये गए कई असफ़ल योजनाओं पर कटाक्ष करते हुए युवाओं ने स्टॉल लगाए। अलग अलग पोस्टरों पर लिखा था “पकौड़े ₹10/प्लेट मेक इन इंडिया स्कीम के तहत”, “पकौड़े ₹10/प्लेट स्टार्ट अप इंडिया स्कीम के तहत” और “पकौड़े ₹10/प्लेट स्टैंड अप इंडिया के तहत”।
 
इसके अलावा सरकार के ‘स्किल इंडिया’ स्कीम से प्रेरित होकर एक ‘कौशल विकास स्टॉल’ भी लगाया जहाँ युवाओं को पकौड़े तलने की ट्रेनिंग दी गयी। जिन युवाओं ने पकौड़े तलने का प्रशिक्षण लिया उन्हें यूथ फॉर स्वराज की तरफ़ से #ImSkilled का प्रमाणपत्र दिया गया। प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को संबोधित इस पत्र में कहा गया, “मैंने पकौड़े तलने की ट्रेनिंग ले ली है.. आपसे निवेदन है कि कृपया मुझे रोज़गार का अवसर प्रदान करें”। कार्यक्रम में कई युवाओं ने पकौड़े तलने का प्रशिक्षण और प्रमाण पत्र लिया।
 
कार्यक्रम में युवाओं ने तख्तियों पर “‘न्यू इंडिया’ की यही पहचान? पकौड़ी तलता नौजवान!” और “युवाओं के लिए क्या? नौकरी या सिर्फ़ पकौड़ी!” जैसे नारे लिखकर अपनी बात कही।
 
विश्वविद्यालय के पास हुए कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित स्वराज इंडिया के दिल्ली प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अनुपम ने कहा, “लगता है मोदी जी ने देश चलाने के पवित्र काम को चाय पकौड़ा तक सीमित कर दिया है। बैंक अकाउंट में 15 लाख और फ़सल के ड्योढ़े दाम की तरह युवाओं को 1 करोड़ नौकरी देने का वादा भी एक दुखद जुमला निकला है। इस आम बजट पर भी युवाओं की निगाह है। और अगर मोदी जी देश में रोज़गार के अवसर नहीं बना पाते हैं तो आक्रोशित युवाओं के आंदोलन में उनकी सरकार ध्वस्त हो जाएगी।”

दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के सत्यकामा सभागार में आज यूथ फॉर स्वराज Y4S द्वारा ‘विवेकानंद यूथ समिट 2018’ का सफ़लता पूर्वक आयोजन हुआ। राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस और विवेकानंद जयंती के अवसर पर हुए कार्यक्रम में दिल्ली के युवाओं की ज़ोरदार भागीदारी देखी गयी।
 
स्वराज इंडिया के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष योग्रन्द्र यादव ने युवाओं को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि स्वामी विवेकानंद को सिर्फ़ श्रद्धांजलि नहीं, कार्यान्जली भी देने की आवश्यकता है। विवेकानंद को नारों, छवियों और तस्वीरों में बांधने की बजाए उनके विचारों को आत्मसात करने के संदेश के साथ योगेंद्र यादव ने युवाओं को सांस्कृतिक आत्मविश्वास पैदा करने की प्रेरणा दी। उन्होंने कहा कि स्वामी विवेकानंद 1860 के दशक में पैदा हुए तीन महान भारतीयों में हैं जिन्होंने हमें ऊनी संस्कृति और सभ्यता पर
 
सहज तौर पर गर्व करना सिखाया। विवेकानंद के अलावा टैगोर और गांधी ने भी भारतीयों में सांस्कृतिक आत्मविश्वास का सृजन किया। युवाओं से अपने दो साल देने की अपील करते हुए उन्होंने कहा कि आज के भारत में अलग तरह की चुनौतियां हैं जिनपर देश के युवा ही सार्थक ढंग से काम कर सकते हैं। योगेंद्र यादव ने कहा कि गन्दी राजनीति के ख़िलाफ़ मजबूती से खड़े होकर युवा ही देश को जाति धर्म में बंटने और लड़ने से बचाएगा।
 
युवाओं को संबोधित करते हुए स्वराज इंडिया के दिल्ली प्रदेश अध्यक्ष अनुपम ने स्वामी विवेकानंद को नए भारत का विचारक और प्रचारक बताया। देश का एक बड़ा राजनीतिक वर्ग चाहता है कि स्वामी विवेकानंद की छवि एक ‘भगवाधारी हिन्दू संत’ तक सीमित रहे। क्यूंकि धर्म, संस्कृति, समाज से लेकर राष्ट्रवाद जैसे कई मुद्दों पर ये वर्ग आज विवेकानंद के विचारों के उलट काम कर रहे हैं। इसलिए ये चाहते हैं कि देश विवेकानंद के विचार नहीं, सिर्फ़ छवि को याद रखे। अनुपम ने कहा कि स्वामी विवेकानंद को फूल-मालाओं और छवि पूजन तक सीमित न करके आज के युवा उनके विचारों को भी आत्मसात करें। आज के इस माहौल मे जहाँ भाषा, जाति या धर्म के नाम पर नफ़रत, द्वेष और हिंसा फैलाई जा रही है, विवेकानंद की प्रासंगिकता कहीं ज़्यादा बढ़ गई है।
 
छात्रों और शिक्षकों के अलावा दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के फैकल्टी ऑफ साइंस में हुए इस कार्यक्रम में प्रोफ हरीश खन्ना और तिमारपुर विधायक पंकज पुष्कर ने भी हिस्सा लिया।

स्वराज इंडिया के छात्र-युवा संगठन Y4S (यूथ फॉर स्वराज) द्वारा 12 जनवरी को विवेकानंद यूथ समिट 2018 का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। विवेकानंद जयंती और राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस पर दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के नॉर्थ कैम्पस में होने वाले इस कार्यक्रम में युवाओं की ज़ोरदार भागीदारी की संभावना है।
 
इस अवसर पर कई छात्रों, युवाओं, शिक्षकों के साथ साथ स्वराज इंडिया के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष योगेंद्र यादव भी दिल्ली के युवाओं को संबोधित करेंगे।
 
आज के इस माहौल में जहाँ कि भाषा, जाति या धर्म के नाम पर नफ़रत, द्वेष और हिंसा फैलाई जा रही है, स्वामी विवेकानंद की प्रासंगिकता कहीं ज़्यादा बढ़ गई है। देश का एक बड़ा राजनीतिक वर्ग चाहता है कि विवेकानंद की छवि को एक ‘भगवाधारी हिन्दू संत’ तक सीमित कर दिया जाए। क्यूंकि धर्म, संस्कृति, समाज से लेकर राष्ट्रवाद जैसे कई मुद्दों पर ये वर्ग आज विवेकानंद के विचारों के उलट काम कर रहा है।
 
‘विवेकानंद यूथ समिट 2018’ का उद्देश्य है कि देश की बढ़ती युवा आबादी की दशा दिशा पर चर्चा करके सार्थक भविष्य की एक रूपरेखा बनाई जाए। साथ ही स्वामी विवेकानंद को फूल- मालाओं और छवि पूजन तक सीमित न करके आज के युवा उनके विचारों को भी आत्मसात करें।
 
Vivekananda Youth Summit’ to be held at Delhi University on 12 July, 2018
 
A future plan based on the ideals of Vivekananda that will act as the guiding path for the country’s youth to be formed.
 
The student-youth wing of Swaraj India, Y4S (Youth4Swaraj), is organising ‘Vivekananda Youth Summit 2018’ on the 12th of January (11 am). The event is being organised on the National Youth day which coincides with the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
 
Along with students, youth and teachers, Swaraj India President Yogendra Yadav will also attend the event and address the gathering.
 
At a time when hate & violence in the name of caste, creed, race & religion is at peak, at a time when the notion of nationalism is being distorted, and the very idea of India is under threat, Swami Vivekanand and his thoughts have become more relevant than it ever was. A section of political class, in order to further its own political agenda, today wants to reduce Vivekanand to just an image of a ‘saffron robe wearing hindu saint’ and not adhere to his noble teachings & thoughts.
 
The objective of ‘Vivekananda Youth Summit 2018’ is to have a dialogue to find the way ahead and a guiding path for the youth of this country. This is an attempt to put an and to restricting Vivekananda to mere floral tributes and start embodying what he preached & practiced.

Youth 4 Swaraj (Y4S) calls the youth of the nation to lend their support to the nationwide farmers’ movement that is beginning from 18th of July at Jantar Mantar, Delhi.
 
• For this nationwide campaign, Y4S has started a campaign titled ‘मैं भी किसान की संतान’
 
• The movement that is going to be launched from 18th July from Jantar Mantar follows the ‘Kisan Mukti Yatra’ that began on July 6 from Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. The Kisan Mukti Yatra began with the twin objectives of “Rin Mukti aur Poor Dhaam’ (Debt Free Farmer & Remunerative Price).
 
As the Yatra was beginning from Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, in a desperate attempt to prevent the Yatra from proceeding, Madhya Pradesh Police arrested several farmer leaders including Yogendra Yadav. But that did not deter the leaders of Kisan Mukti Yatra from proceeding with the Yatra and with the joint effort of hundreds of farmers’ organisations spread across the country, the movement has become bigger and stronger today.
 
The Yatra received unprecedented support from local farmers as it proceeded through various states of the country. The Yatra which has already covered Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat is at present in Rajasthan and is scheduled to cover Haryana & Uttar Pradesh before it reaches Delhi on July 18th.
 
In today’s times, our country is going through a major agricultural crisis with farmers submerged in debt. This crisis has reached such a level that everyday the news of farmers committing suicide comes from one part of the country or other. Farmers are living in such trying times that farmers who are feeding the nation are unable to feed their own families. And when they fail to pay their debts, they are subjected to such cruel defamation that they give up their lives.
 
Farmers have to suffer not only during natural calamities like drought. After suffering from drought for two years, when the farmers witnessed a good yield this year, they are again faced with a situation where they are suffering from heavy loses. Added to this is the fact that on most occasions, the government has failed to purchase the crops that farmers have produced. And Kisan Mukti Yatra has been successful in highlighting the failures of promises of the government at such times. This farmers movement has emerged as the a ray of hope for the country and to keep this hope alive, the farmers need the support of the youth.
 
Making an appeal to the youth of this country to join the farmers’ movement on 18th July, Manish Kumar, National Convener for Y4S -Youth for Swaraj said “The time has come for youth to contribute their energy towards the farmers’ movement that is going on in the country.”
 
This fight is not just for saving farmers or farming. This is the fight of every citizen, every youth of this country. It is only when farmers and farming will survive that the country’s villages will be able to sustain. And only when the villages will be able to sustain, the cities can survive. And this inter-dependency makes this farmers’ fight a fight of every citizen in this country. In fighting for the rights of the farmers, lies real nationalism.
 
Through the Facebook Online Event “मैं भी किसान की संतान” campaign,thousands of youth engaged with it within hours and promised to be present at Jantar Mantar. The youth of Delhi & across the country have taken an oath to not let the farmers commit suicide. Students from various universities such as Delhi University, JNU, Jamia Milia and several colleges in the capital have offered their support with the farmers’ movement from July 18 at Jantar Mantar.

• यूथ फॉर स्वराज Y4S ने देश के युवाओं से 18 जुलाई से जंतर मंतर पहुँचकर देशव्यापी किसान आंदोलन को ताकत और ऊर्जा देने का आह्वान किया है। “मैं भी किसान की संतान” मुहिम के जरिये दिल्ली और देश के छात्रों युवाओं से भारी संख्या में आंदोलन से जुड़ने की अपील की है।
 
6 जुलाई से मध्यप्रदेश के मंदसौर से “ख़ुशहाली के दो आयाम, ऋण मुक्ति और पूरे दाम” के नारे के साथ किसान मुक्ति यात्रा की शुरुआत हुई थी। घबराई और बौखलाई हुई मध्यप्रदेश सरकार ने योगेंद्र यादव समेत कई किसान नेताओं को गिरफ़्तार कर लिया था। देश भर के सैकड़ों किसान संगठनों के साझा प्रयास से आंदोलन ने आज बड़ा रूप ले लिया है। यात्रा के दौरान किसान नेताओं को गाँव गाँव से अभूतपूर्व समर्थन मिल रहा है। मंदसौर से चलकर महाराष्ट्र, गुजरात, राजस्थान, यूपी, हरियाणा होते हुए किसान यात्रा 18 जुलाई को दिल्ली के जंतर मंतर पहुँचेगी।
 
आज देश एक बड़े कृषि संकट के दौर से गुज़र रहा है। किसान कर्ज़े में डूबा हुआ है। हर दिन कहीं न कहीं से किसानों के खुदकुशी की खबरें आती हैं। देश का पेट भरने वाला किसान खुद अपने परिवार का पेट नहीं पाल पा रहा। कर्ज़ न चुका पाने के अपमान के कारण किसान जान तक देने को मजबूर हो गया है। दो साल सूखे की भयावह मार झेलने के बाद जब इस साल अच्छी पैदावार हुई, तो किसानों को फ़सल की कीमत ही नही मिली। और तो और, ज़्यादातर मौकों पर सरकार ने फसल ख़रीदी ही नहीं। ऐसे समय में सरकार की नाकामी और वादाख़िलाफ़ी को उजागर करने में किसान मुक्ति यात्रा कामयाब रही है। ये किसान आंदोलन देश के लिए उम्म्मीद की एक किरण की तरह है।
 
यह लड़ाई सिर्फ़ किसान या खेती बचाने के लिए नहीं है। ये देश के हर नागरिक की लड़ाई है, हर युवा की लड़ाई है। अगर किसान और खेती बचेगी, तभी देश के गाँव बचेंगे। और गाँव बचेंगे तभी हमारे शहर बच पाएंगे। इसलिए यह लड़ाई हर देशवासी की लड़ाई है। किसानों को उनका वाज़िब हक दिलाना ही असल राष्ट्रवाद है।
 
यूथ फॉर स्वराज Y4S के राष्ट्रिय संयोजक मनीष कुमार ने कहा, “समय आ गया है कि देश में चल रहे इस पवित्र किसान आंदोलन में युवाओं की ताकत का भी योगदान हो।” इसी मक़सद से 18 जुलाई को Y4S ने सभी युवाओं से जंतर मंतर पहुँचकर आंदोलन को ऊर्जा देने की अपील की है।”
 
फेसबुक पर “मैं भी किसान की संतान” मुहिम के जरिये चाँद घंटो में हजारों युवाओं ने 18 तारिक को जन्तर मंतर पहुँचने का वादा किया.देश और दिल्ली के युवाओं ने अपने अन्नदाता किसान को आत्महत्या न करने देने का प्रण लिया है। दिल्ली यूनिवर्सिटी, जेएनयू, जामिया से लेकर राजधानी के कई कॉलेजों के छात्रों ने 18 जुलाई से जंतर मंतर पर हो रहे किसान आंदोलन में शिरकत करने का फैसला लिया है।

Youth4Swaraj, the youth wing of Swaraj Abhiyan, has launched the Drought Duty internship program – a project that is aimed to bridge the gap between the urban youth and the rural farmers.
 
Moved by the impact of last year’s drought duty initiative and the recent experience of yatra in Tamil Nadu, the state that is facing the worst drought in the last 140 years, has led Swaraj Abhiyan to announce the Drought Duty Internship for the second year now.
 
Drought Duty is a unique attempt at bringing together the farmers & the students – two unrelated yet both significant segments. In this program, youth from all over India visit the farmers in their own piece of land, & experience the ground realities of producing food-grain. It began last year under the initiative of Swarj Abhiyan in collaboration with Youth4Swaraj, National Alliance for People’s Movement, Ekta Parishad and Jal Biradari. It is designed for young people to take action for drought relief in affected rural areas.
 
The entire campaign this year stretches across six weeks, between 25th May to 8th July and spread in six states which are Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The overwhelming response from over 500 youth nationwide, at a short notice of few weeks, for coming forward and helping their fellow Indians is an assurance that the urban and rural divide can be dissolved. The plan is to visit about 40 villages in 13 batches of the youth where they will uncdertake activities such as disseminate information, conduct a survey, map water resources, etc.
 
Various organisatons like Ashta Sansthan, Association of Rural Education and Development Services, Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan (MKSS), Navrachna Samaj Sevi Sansthan, and Mahatma Gandhi Sev Ashram have collaborated with Swaraj Abhiyan in this project
 
Drought duty teams led my Youth4Swaraj members will visit villages which do not have minimum basic needs and the interns will live the same life as local villagers to understand the exact problems faced by villagers every day. This campaign is to reveal the reality of working strategy of Indian government which is not so beneficial in upraising the conditions of villagers. The government is passing new schemes for the people but they aren’t getting proper benefits. Proper measures are not being taken to inform the local people about these schemes. The drought duty teams will work to connect local people with government officials to solve temporary problems of the village.
 
The aim of the project is to sensitise the urban youth with the conditios of drought and to make them understand the impact of drought on the people affectd by it.
 
Swaraj Abhiyan has been constantly fihgting for the rights of the farmers and for relief to the people affected by drought. Last month, Swaraj Abhiyan undertook a 4-day yatra in Tamil Nadu to make farmers aware of their Constitutional Rights in droughts situations. It has also filed an appeal in the Supreme Court demanding that the states be ordered to provide relief to the drought hit people. Recently, the court had summoned Chief Secretaries of 8 states in the case.

सूखा संकट से जूझ रहे किसानों के लिए स्वराज अभियान का युवा संगठन “यूथ4स्वराज (Y4S)” इस साल फिर चला रहा है “ड्राउट ड्यूटी” इंटर्न्शिप प्रोग्राम।
 
• देश के 5 सूखाग्रस्त राज्यों (तमिलनाडु, मध्यप्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, राजस्थान, उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार) में होगा “ड्राउट ड्यूटी” इंटर्न्शिप प्रोग्राम।
 
• इस इंटर्नशिप प्रोग्राम में स्वराज अभियान के साथ-साथ MKSS, एकता परिषद, महात्मा गांधी सेवाश्रम आदि संस्थान भी हैं सहयोगी।
 
• “ड्राउट ड्यूटी” का मूल मक़सद है देश के युवा को ‘सच्चे व सकारात्मक राष्ट्रवाद’ से परिचय कराना और शहरी युवा को ग्रामीण भारत से जोड़ना।
 
• 7 दिनों की इस ड्राउट ड्यूटी प्रोग्राम के तहत लगभग 150 से 200 छात्र सूखाग्रस्त ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में भेजे जाएँगे।
 
स्वराज अभियान किसानों के हित में कार्य करने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। अपने इस कदम को आगे बढ़ाते हुए सूखा संकट से जूझ रहे किसानों के लिए स्वराज अभियान का युवा संगठन “यूथ4स्वराज (Y4S)” इस साल फिर से “ड्राउट ड्यूटी” इंटर्न्शिप प्रोग्राम चला रहा है। ड्राउट ड्यूटी एक ऐसा इंटर्नशिप कार्यक्रम है जिसमें पूरे देश के विभिन्न शहरों से छात्र हिस्सा लेते हैं। देश के युवा को ‘सच्चे व सकारात्मक राष्ट्रवाद’ से परिचय कराना और शहरी युवा को ग्रामीण भारत से जोड़ना इस “ड्राउट ड्यूटी” का मूल मक़सद है।
 
“ड्राउट ड्यूटी” इंटर्नशिप प्रोग्राम 26 मई से शुरू होकर 26 जुलाई तक चलेगा। इस कार्यक्रम में छात्रों को पाँच सूखा प्रभावित राज्यों तमिलनाडु, मध्यप्रदेश, महाराष्ट्र, राजस्थान, उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार के किसी गाँव का दौरा करना है। यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज के निर्देशन में हो रहे इस प्रोग्राम में स्वराज अभियान के साथ सहयोगी संस्थाओं के रूप में MKSS, एकता परिषद, महात्मा गांधी सेवाश्रम आदि संस्थानों ने भी हाथ बढ़ाया है।
 
इस इंटर्नशिप प्रोग्राम के तहत अपने ग्राम्य प्रवास के दौरान छात्र और युवा किसानों को उनके अधिकारों के प्रति जागरूक करेंगे। कितनी सरकारी योजनाएँ सरकारी फाइलों में ही दम तोड़ देती हैं क्योंकि किसानों को सही से इसके बारे में बताया नहीं जाता। ड्राउट ड्यूटी प्रोग्राम स्वराज अभियान द्वारा विगत वर्ष भी संचालित की गई थी। जिसके दूरगामी परिणाम हाथ लगे थे। पिछले वर्ष की यह कार्यक्रम 6 राज्यों में हुई थी जिसमें लगभग 100 छात्रों ने हिस्सा लिया था। विगत वर्ष के इंटर्नशिप कार्यक्रम के दौरान एकत्रित आँकड़ों के आधार पर किसानों के हित में सरकार को चुनौती भी दी गयी थी।
 
इस यात्रा के निर्देशन और क्रियान्वयन की जिम्मेदारी स्वराज अभियान के युवा संगठन ‘Y4S’ ने उठायी है। यूथ फ़ॉर स्वराज युवकों का ऐसा संगठन है जो सामाजिक हितों के प्रति अत्यंत जागरूक और प्रयत्नशील रहा है। अभी पिछले दिनों तमिलनाडु में सूखा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में सूखा यात्रा के दौरान Y4S के सदस्यों ने बढ़-चढ़ कर हिस्सा लिया एवं इन क्षेत्रों में अनेक सर्वे भी किये।
 
Y4S ने विभिन्न क्षेत्रों से छात्रों को संगठित करके “ड्राउट ड्यूटी” प्रोग्राम के लिए भेजने का बीड़ा उठाया है ताकि छात्रों को किसानों के साथ रहने और उनकी दयनीय परिस्थितियों को करीब से जानने का मौका मिलेगा। इन सबसे न केवल छात्रों की ज्ञानवृद्धि ही होगी अपितु उनके व्यक्तित्व का विकास भी होगा। छात्र अपने देश की परिस्थितियों से अवगत होकर उनके प्रति संवेदनशील भी हो सकेंगे।
 
ड्राउट ड्यूटी प्रोग्राम में लगभग 150 से 200 छात्र सम्मिलित होंगे। इन सभी छात्रों को 10 से 15 सदस्यों की टुकड़ी में 7 दिन के इंटर्नशिप प्रोग्राम के तहत ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में भेज जायेगा। प्रत्येक टुकड़ी का एक प्रमुख होगा जो कि पिछले वर्ष की यात्रा का अनुभव प्राप्त कर चुका होगा। इस प्रोग्राम के दौरान छात्रों को यह भी जानने को मिलेगा कि किसानों को सूखे से क्या-क्या समस्याऐं हुई हैं और किस तरह उन समस्याओं को दूर किया जा सके।प्रोग्राम के दौरान छात्र कई तरह के सर्वे भी करेंगे जिसमें विभिन्न सूखा प्रभावित क्षेत्रों के घटते जलस्तर की जाँच की जाएगी। इन क्षेत्रों में विभिन्न सरकारी योजनाओं जैसे कि मिड डे मील और किसानों के लिए फसल बीमा आदि योजनाओं की भी जांच पड़ताल की जाएगी। ज्ञात हो कि तमिलनाडु में किसान अधिकार यात्रा के दौरान भी इस तरह के सर्वे किये गए थे। जिसमें बहुत गहरे स्तर तक भ्रष्टाचार और जिम्मेदारी एवं जवाबदेही का अभाव देखा गया।
 
इन विषयों पर चर्चा के लिए ये ‘सूखा सेनानी’ स्थानीय अधिकारियों से भी मिलेंगे। ग्रामीण किसानों के साथ नुक्कड़ सभाओं के माध्यम से परिचर्चा की जाएगी और उनकी समस्याओं को जाना-समझा जाएगा। अधिकारियों और स्थानीय निवासियों के साथ मिलजुलकर समस्याओं के निपटारे के उपायों पर भी विचार-विमर्श करेंगे और जिन समस्याओं का निपटारा संभव होगा उसका प्रबंध भी किसानों और अधिकारियों के साथ मिलकर करेंगे। इस प्रोग्राम के जरिये सरकारों के द्वारा जारी योजनाओं और उनके प्रभाव का भी आकलन किया जाएगा।
 
एक तरफ जहाँ देश का किसान सूखे की मार लगातार झेल रहा है वहीं दूसरी ओर केंद्र सरकार अपनी ‘स्व घोषित उपलब्धि पूर्ण’ तीसरी वर्षगाँठ मनाने में लगी है।किसानों की परवाह न तो केंद्र सरकार को है और न ही राज्य सरकारों को है।
 
ऐसे में, स्वराज अभियान किसानों के हित के लिए लगातार प्रयासरत है। स्वराज अभियान की ओर से हाल ही में तमिलनाडु के किसानों के पक्ष में आवाज उठाई गयी और उनकी मांगों का समर्थन करते हुए ‘किसान अधिकार यात्रा’ भी की गयी। इस यात्रा का तत्काल लाभ किसानों को मिला। तत्काल प्रभाव से तमिलनाडु में किसानों को कर्जमाफी, मिड डे मील और इंस्योरेन्स जैसे अधिकार प्रदान किये गए जो कि आमतौर पर सरकार नहीं करती है।

Swaraj Abhiyan’s ‘Ulavar Urimai Payanam: Farmers’ Rights Yatra’ was flagged off today from Vedharanyam, Tamil Nadu- a 4 day yatra being organised by Swaraj Abhiyan, Jai Kisan Andolan, Youth4Swaraj in collaboration with NAPM, ASHA and Ekta Parishad. Before culminating on May 7, the yatra will cover 7 drought affected districts of Tamil Nadu.
 
On the first day (4th May), the Yatra covered more than 220 kms. Starting from Vedharanyam in the morning, the Yatra travelled through Ayakaran, Puthukudi, Thanikottai Kadai, Pranthiyakarai, Vepancheri, Idumbavanam, Muthupettai, Thambikootai, Pattukootai, Pappanaadu and Kannanthankudi.
 
Farmers’ Rights Yatra is being organised to make farmers aware of their Constitutional Rights in droughts situations. At the many meeting held at th villages covered in the Yatra, Swaraj Abhiyan leaders led by Yogendra Yadav, provided information to farmers about various laws meant for protecting them such as the National Food Security Act, MNREGA, Crop Input Subsidy and Loan Rescheduling.
 
The Yatra also reasserted the farmers’ right to avail relief under National Food Security Act so that no one is deprived of food in case of calamities.
 
Swaraj Abhiyan was shocked to find that inspite of Supreme Court issuing orders, Mid-Day meal is not being provided to school children during summer vacation. Yogendra Yadav exhorted the farmers to join the movement demanding National Farmers Income Commission and Income Guarantee Act.
 
Youth4Swaraj volunteers conducted on the spot surveys at all the places where the yatris stopped. They also distributed pamphlets and information brochures to the villagers and coordinated with village Panchayats to organise meetings.
 
Swaraj Abhiyan leaders have been taking note of the problems faced by the farmers and have assured them to present these problems to political leaders of Tamil Nadu and the Centre at the end of Yatra.

योगेंद्र यादव के नेतृत्व में “उलावर उरिमई पयनम : किसान अधिकार यात्रा” के पहले दिन आज 220 किमी का सफ़र। तमिलनाडु में सूखा पीड़ित किसानों के हक़ में 7 मई तक चलेगी यात्रा।
 
“उलावर उरिमई पयनम : किसान अधिकार यात्रा” का आरम्भ आज वेदरान्यम से हुआ। स्वराज अभियान, जय किसान आन्दोलन, यूथ4स्वराज और NAPM, ASHA, एकता परिषद् के समन्वय से यह यात्रा 4 मई से प्रारम्भ करके 7 मई को संपन्न की जायेगी।
 
पहले दिन (4 मई) किसान अधिकार यात्रा के यात्रियों ने इस यात्रा में 220 किलोमीटर का सफ़र तय किया। प्रातः वेदारण्यम से शुरू हुई यह यात्रा अय्याकरण पुठुकोडी तरु, थानिकोट्टई कड़ई, प्रन्थियाकाराई, वेपंचेरी, इदुम्बवानाम, मुठुपेत्ताई, थम्बिकूतई, पट्टूकूटई, पप्पनाडू और कन्नान्थान्कुदी से गुजरी।
 
किसान अधिकार यात्रा का उद्देश्य किसानों को सूखे की स्थिति में उनके संवैधानिक अधिकारों से अवगत कराना है। इन गाँवों में अलग-अलग स्थानों पे अनेक सभाओं में स्वराज इंडिया के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष और जय किसान आंदोलन के संस्थापक योगेन्द्र यादव ने किसानों को उनकी सुरक्षा के लिए बनाए गए कानून, जैसे-राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिनियम, मनरेगा, फसल इनपुट सब्सिडी और क़र्ज़ अदायगी की मियाद बढ़ाने और अन्य सम्बंधित विषयों की जानकारी दी।
 
यात्रा में योगेंद्र यादव ने किसानों को राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिनियम के अंतर्गत उनके अधिकारों पर विशेष जोर देते हुए कहा कि वे संकट की इस घड़ी में इसका उपयोग ज़रूर करें।
 
स्वराज अभियान को यह सुनकर अचम्भा हुआ कि सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निर्देश के बावजूद बच्चों को गर्मी की छुट्टियों में ‘मिड डे मील’ नहीं दिया जा रहा। योगेन्द्र यादव ने किसानों का आह्वान किया कि वे ‘राष्ट्रीय कृषक आय आयोग’ एवं ‘आय गारंटी अधिनियम’ की मुहीम के साथ जुडें।
 
यूथ4स्वराज के कार्यकर्ताओं ने इस यात्रा के दौरान गाँवों में कृषि और सूखे से संबंधित सर्वेक्षण भी किये।कार्यकर्ताओं ने स्थानीय लोगों को पर्चे बांटे और गाँव की पंचायतों के साथ मिलकर सभाओं का आयोजन भी किया।
 
स्वराज अभियान के नेतागण इस यात्रा के दौरान किसानों की समस्याओं को लिखित रूप में सूचीबद्ध कर रहे हैं।इस यात्रा के दौरान किसानों की समस्याओं को तमिलनाडु के राज्यस्तरीय राजनैतिक नेतृत्व और केंद्रीय नेतृत्व तक पहुंचाने एवं किसानों के पक्ष में लड़ने का आश्वासन भी स्वराज अभियान ने किया है।

काशी विश्वविद्यालय पिछले कुछ समय में छात्रों और कर्मचारियों में असंतोष पनपा है |दैनिक वेतन भोगी कर्मचारी ECR 1998 के अनुसार नियमित होने को आरक्षित है ।निमिमित होने की माँग / न्यायिक माँग / आंदोलन के फलस्वरूप ४०-५० वर्ष के आयु के कर्मचारी काम से निकल दिए गए हैं और सपरिवार भुखमरी के कगार पर है। इतना बडा आन्दोलन होने के बावजूद दैनिक वेतन भोगी कर्मचारी आज तक नियमित नहीं हुए हैं जिससे साफ़ पता चलता है की बी एच यु प्रशासन को मजदूरों की कोई परवाह नहीं है |
 
छात्राओं के साथ भेदभाव एक गंभीर मुद्दा है और उनके साथ होने वाले भेदभाव के खिलाफ यूथ 4 स्वराज हमेशा लड़ता रहेगा | यह बहुत ही नींदनिय है की देश के सबसे प्रख्यात विश्वविद्यालय में इस तरीके से छात्र छात्राओं के बीच भेद भाव की निति अपनाई जा रही है |
 
1.छात्राओं को रात 8 बजे से होस्टलों में बंद किया जा रहा है|
 
2.छात्राओं को मेस में नॉनवेज खाने पर रोक हैI
 
3.छात्राओं के कपडे पहनने पर नैतिक आह्वान के साथ प्रतिबंध हैI
 
4.छात्राओं के प्रदर्शन विरोध में शामिल होने पर प्रतिबंध हैंI
 
5.पिछले दिनों छात्राओं द्वारा काशी0वि0वि0 में जेंडर आधारित भेदभाव को उठाया गयाI
 
6.छात्राओं द्वारा भेदभाव के सवाल को उठाने पर सोशल मीडिया में कई आपत्तियां दर्ज हुईI
 
7.आपत्तियों के इतर गाली गलौज और बलात्कार की धमकी छात्राओं को दी जा रही है जो की आपत्तिजनक और असहनीय हैI
 
लाइब्ररी की सुधार के लिए जो छात्र मांग कर रहे हैं उनको बिना नोटिस निलंबित किया जा रहा है|लाइब्रेरी आंदोलन के छात्रों को बीएचयू प्रशासन की ओर से गंभीर आपराधिक धाराओं में साजिशन फंसाया जा रहा हैIअगर लाइब्ररी के लिए छात्रों को आन्दोलन करने की जरुरत पड़ रही है तो काशी विश्वविद्यलय की दयनीय हालत का पता लगाया जा सकता है |
 
आरक्षण के नियमों को दरकिनार कर सभी प्रशासनिक पदों पर सामान्य वर्ग के लोगों की नियुक्तियां की जा रही है और उन्ही का आधिपत्य है |विवि सामाजिक न्याय के मोर्चे पर फेल हो रहा है और विश्वविद्यलय को भगवाकरण की ओर बढाया जा रहा है | केंद्र में बीजेपी सरकार के आने के बाद पार्टी के लोगो और बीजेपी की मातृ सँस्था आरएसएस की सक्रियता बढ़ी है।एक विचार विशेष के हस्तक्षेप से भी स्वाभाविक प्रतिक्रिया उतपन्न हो रही है।परिसर में काफी समय से अलोकतांत्रिक तरीके से सभी संघो पर प्रतिबंध हैIछात्रों कर्मचारियो शिक्षको की आवाज़ पर रोक हैI
 
भारत रत्न पंडित महामना मदन मोहन मालवीय जी के तप ऊर्जा से दीप्त काशी विवि परिसर के छात्रों और कर्मचारियों पर हो रहे उत्पीड़न की इन दुःखद उदाहरणों को संज्ञान में लेकर उचित कारवाई होनी चाहिए| अगर ऐसा नहीं होता है तो कर्मचारियों और छात्रों को अपनी मांगे पूरी करवाने के लिए और विवि प्रशासन को झुकाने के लिए इस असंतोश को आन्दोलन का रूप देना होगा |

Youth4Swaraj condemns attack on democratic space of students at Ramjas college
 
• Negligence of Delhi Police and the decision to not intervene during the attack on a peaceful protests is disheartening and shameful.
 
• We demand immediate FIR on students who were involved in the violence
 
• Proper investigation into this mob attack is needed as this has become a pattern to suppress the opponent’s voice
 
Youth4Swaraj supports the students who were peacefully protesting against the suppression of freedom of speech and expression at Ramjas college.They have the right to protest with all democratic means. Ideological differences and debates on any issues is justified but the use of ‘violence’ as a weapon to defeat opponent is not acceptable. At present this has become a pattern through out the country but now this disease has made an in rode into student community that is unfortunate. Thus,Youth4Swaraj condemns the incident of violence at Ramjas College.
 
It is very disheartening and shameful to acknowledge that police could not protect those students, all the while they stood as mute spectators watching students get thrashed. These type of incidents vitiate the atmosphere of educational institutions which has many side effects.
 
We demand immediate FIR against the students who resorted to violent measure. We also demand an independent inquiry into this mishaps.
 
By now Youth4Swaraj stands with the student victims and will protest against the fascist forces who on the pretext of nationalism try to crush the opposite voice of the students by manipulating them.

•आधी रात हुई दैनिक कर्मचारियों पर पुलिस कार्यवाई की स्वराज अभियान कड़ी शब्दों में निंदा करता है ।
 
• दैनिक वेतनभोगी कर्मचारियों को आधी रात पुलिस ने लिया हिरासत में, पिछले 171 दिन से दे रहे थे धरना ।
 
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की वाराणसी यात्रा बहुत चर्चित है और उनके आने के पहले आधी रात को बीएचयू के दैनिक वेतनभोगी कर्मचारियों को हिरासत में ले लिया गया I पुलिस ने यह सफाई दी है कि उनके सुरक्षा में खतरा हो सकता है I यह कार्यवाई बहुत निंदनीय है और अचंभित करने वाला है क्यूंकि वे लोग प्रधानमंत्री के आने से खुश थे और येही आस लगे बैठे थे कि मोदीजी आएँगे तो उनके समस्याओं का हल निकल जाएगा लेकिन ऐसा कुछ नहीं हुआ उल्टा उन्हें पुलिस थाना में बंद कर लिया गया I ज्ञात हो कि बीएचयू संस्थान के लिए सालों से काम करने वाले दैनिक वेतनभोगी कर्मचारी महीनों से अनशन पर हैंI 30 दिनों तक आमरण अनशन और 69 दिनों की अनशन पर भी बैठे रहे परंतु प्रशासन के कान पर जूं भी नहीं रेंगी।पिछले तीन दशक से परिसर में काम करने वाले इन कर्मचारियों को स्थायी कर्मचारी का दर्जा नहीं दिया गया है और विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन ने इनका अधिकार देने के बजाय इन्हें मरने के लिए छोड़ दिया है।
 
अनशन के दौरान कर्मचारियों की तबीयत खराब हुई, हाथ-पाँव फूल गये और कुछ कर्मचारियों को अस्पताल में भी भर्ती कराना पड़ा फिर भी प्रशासन मूक दर्शक बना रहा। आमरण अनशन के पश्चात भी जब प्रशासन की तरफ से कोई सुनवाई नहीं हुई तब कर्मचारियों ने महामहिम राष्ट्रपति को पत्र लिखकर इच्छा मृत्यु की अनुमति मांगी।
 
यूथ 4 स्वराज के साथी कर्मचारियों के साथ कदम से कदम मिला कर खड़े हैं और उन्होंने संघर्ष का रास्ता नहीं छोड़ा हैI उन्होंने कई प्रयास किए कभी प्रतिरोध मार्च निकला तो कभी मंत्रियों से मिलेI महेश शर्मा, महेंद्रनाथ पाण्डेय और अनुप्रिय पटेल से भी छात्रों ने मिला पर आश्वाशन के सिवाय कुछ हाथ नहीं लगाI वी.सी. जीसी त्रिपाठी से भी छात्रों ने मुलाकात की उन्होंने कहा की उसका हल निकल जाएगा और कर्मचारियों से कहा की अगले दिन से वे अपने काम पे लग जाएँ लेकिन अगले दिन जब कर्मचारी काम पर गए तो उन्हें भगा दिया गया और कहा गया की उन्हें काम से निकाल दिया गया हैI
 
यह कैसा न्याय है ?
 
यूथ 4 स्वराज जो स्वराज अभियान का यूथ व छात्र विंग है वो इस लड़ाई को आखरी वक़्त तक लड़ने की कसम खता है I बीएचयू तो देश के कुछ गिने-चुने विश्वविद्यालयों में से है जिसने राष्ट्र निर्माण में काफ़ी योगदान दिया है।अगर ऐसे विश्वविद्यालय में ही मज़दूरों का शोषण होता है तो छात्र क्या सीखेंगे? यूनिवर्सिटी परिसर में इस तरह के शोषण की घटना सुनकर दु:ख होता है I
 
स्वराज इंडिया के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष योगेन्द्र यादव ने बीएचयू के दैनिक वेतन भोगी कर्मचारियों को स्थायी करने की मांग के साथ अनशन पर बैठे कर्मचारियों के संबंध में बनारस के सांसद श्री नरेंद्र मोदी को एक पत्र भी लिखा था पर उसका अब तक कोई जवाब नहीं आया जिससे साफ़ पता चलता है कि ना बीएचयु प्रशासन और नाही प्रधानमंत्री इसपर गंभीर हैI यह चलन प्रधानमंत्री के गरीबों के लिए लड़ने वाली बात को भी खोखला बना देता हैI स्वराज इंडिया पुलिस के इस कायराना हरकत की कड़ी शब्दों में निंदा करता है क्यूंकि वे लोग बहुत ही लोकतान्त्रिक और गांधीवादी तरीके से धरना देते रहें हैं और उनको हिरासत में लेने का कोई मतलब नहीं बनता हैI स्वराज इंडिया मांग करता है कि प्रधानमंत्री अपनी संसदीय क्षेत्र में हो रहे इस घोर अन्याय पर जल्द से जल्द अपना ध्यान दें और इसका समाधान वो और बीएचयु प्रशासन मिलकर निकाले वर्ना इस धरने को बड़ा आन्दोलन बनने में देरी नहीं लगेगीI

स्वराज इंडिया के राष्ट्रीय अध्यक्ष योगेन्द्र यादव ने बीएचयू के दैनिक वेतन भोगी कर्मचारियों को स्थायी करने की मांग के साथ अनशन पर बैठे कर्मचारियों के संबंध में बनारस के सांसद श्री नरेंद्र मोदी को एक पत्र लिखा है।
 
योगेन्द्र यादव ने बीएचयू में 3 दशकों से काम कर रहे दैनिक वेतन भोगी कर्मचारियों के साथ हो रहे अन्याय के प्रति चिंता जताई तथा इस मुद्दे को गंभीरता से लेते हुए जल्द से जल्द कार्रवाई करने का निवेदन किया।
 
योगेंद्र यादव ने पत्र में लिखा है कि यूनिवर्सिटी परिसर में इस तरह के शोषण की घटना सुनकर दु:ख होता है। विश्वविद्यालय वो जगह होती है जहाँ राष्ट्र निर्माण का काम होता है, देश का भविष्य बनता है। यहाँ छात्रों को सिर्फ़ शिक्षा नहीं दी जाती बल्कि उनमें मानव मूल्यों का निर्माण भी किया जाता है। बीएचयू तो देश के कुछ गिने-चुने विश्वविद्यालयों में से है जिसने राष्ट्र निर्माण में काफ़ी योगदान दिया है। महामना मदन मोहन मालवीय के सपनों का यह विश्वविद्यालय देश के लिए एक नज़ीर रहा है। अगर ऐसे विश्वविध्यालय में ही मज़दूरों का शोषण होता है तो छात्र क्या सीखेंगे? विश्वविध्यालय तो हर तरह के शोषण के खिलाफ आवाज़ उठाता है। आज विश्वविद्यालय परिसर ही शोषण का उदाहरण बन गया है। यह बहुत ही चिंतनीय है।
 
ज्ञात हो कि पिछले चार महीनों से दैनिक वेतन भोगी कर्मचारी बीएचयू के प्रांगण में अनशन पर बैठे हैं और 30 दिनों तक आमरण अनशन पर भी बैठे रहे परंतु प्रशासन के कान पर जूं भी नहीं रेंगी। अनशन के दौरान कर्मचारियों की तबीयत खराब हुई, हाथ-पाँव फूल गये और कुछ कर्मचारियों को अस्पताल में भी भर्ती कराना पड़ा। फिर भी प्रशासन मूक दर्शक बना रहा। आमरण अनशन के पश्चात भी जब प्रशासन की तरफ से कोई सुनवाई नहीं हुई तब कर्मचारियों ने महामहिम राष्ट्रपति को पत्र लिखकर इच्छा मृत्यु की अनुमति मांगी।
 
कर्मचारियों के इस संघर्ष में स्वराज इंडिया का यूथ विंग यूथ4स्वराज (Y4S) उनके साथ खड़ा रहा और इस मुद्दे को हर स्तर पर उठाता रहा है।
 
योगेंद्र यादव ने पत्र के माध्यम से बनारस के सांसद से निवेदन किया है कि इस मुद्दे को गंभीरता से लेते हुए जल्द से जल्द उचित कार्रवाई करें ताकि पिछले तीन दशक से इस संस्था को सींचने वाले इन कर्मचारियों के साथ अन्याय न हो और विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन में लोगों का विश्वास बहाल सके।
 
इस अन्याय के विरोध में यूथ फॉर स्वराज स्थानीय सामाजिक संगठनों के साथ मिलकर कल दिवाली के दिन 1 घंटे तक लाईट बंदकर विरोध दर्ज करेगा। इस अभियान में सोशलिस्ट पार्टी (इंडिया), NAPM और गुमटी व्यवसायी कल्याण समिति यूथ फॉर स्वराज का सहयोग कर रहे हैं।

बीएचयू के साथियों से ख़बर मिली है कि संस्थान के लिए सालों से काम करने वाले दैनिक वेतनभोगी कर्मचारी महीनों से अनशन पर हैं। पिछले तीन दशक से परिसर में काम करने वाले इन कर्मचारियों को स्थायी कर्मचारी का दर्जा नहीं दिया गया है। और विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन ने इनका अधिकार देने के बजाय इन्हें मरने के लिए छोड़ दिया हैI

• Over 30 villages were visited by 13 batches of students and youths where the work of information dissemination regarding people’s rights & entitlements, survey and water resource mapping was carried out.
 
Drought Duty is a unique attempt at bridging the increasing gap between rural and urban India and an effort to engage the young students with ongoing crisis of farmers and villagers. The campaign saw young students taking time out for a week-long internship in drought affected villages of India and to get a first hand experience of the problems being faced by a at least quarter of country’s population.
 
Drought Duty, an initiative of Swaraj Abhiyan in collaboration with National Alliance for People’s Movement, Ekta Parishad and Jal Biradari. Coordinated by Jai Kisan Andolan and Youth for Swaraj Y4S of Swaraj Abhiyan, the campaign saw active and enthusiastic participation of youth from across the country. Stretched across six weeks and spread in six states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar,Drought Duty saw an overwhelming response from over 500 youth nationwide, at a short notice. for coming forward and helping their fellow Indians is an assurance that the urban and rural divide can be dissolved. Shruti, who coordinated the campaign said that the objective of Drought Duty was to help the urban youngster understand and feel the pain of farmers who produce our bread and butter. “We hope this initiative is a step towards the convergence of the two Indias.” added Shruti. The teams visited villages which did not have minimum basic necessities and they lived the same life as local villagers to understand the exact problems faced by villagers every day. “This campaign revealed the reality of working strategy of Indian government which is not so beneficial in uplifting the poor conditions of villagers. The government is passing new schemes for the people but they aren’t getting proper benefits. Proper measures are not being taken to inform the local people about these schemes”, expressed Ashish who was one of the interns. The drought duty teams connected local people with government officials to solve temporary problem of the village. Another intern, Khusnud Shahidi mentioned “Government officials were very positive about drought duty team’s findings and supported in mitigation of temporary problems. Although this program was for short duration but impact on the people is expected to be long lasting.”
 
“The fact which has come to light is that a few decent showers are not “the answer”. The teams learnt, dishearteningly, the downward spiral of drought, failed crops, debt & poverty, alleviating which requires organized effort on part of Government & villagers both”, voiced Shreela Sen, an intern.
 
The campaign has concluded and the certificates of participation have been distributed to the young interns. Drought Duty is a silver lining in the government’s and society’s response to the sufferings of rural poor and farmers. It has raised hope that the youth of India is concerned and committed to work for the betterment and development of agriculture and villages. Swaraj Abhiyan will continue to provide platform to the students and youth of the nation who are ready to shoulder responsibility for a better India for all.

Swaraj Abhiyan’s Drought Duty internship teams unveiled the ground reality in drought affected areas.
 
• The teams that were a part of the Drought Duty campaign by Swaraj Abhiyan, National Alliance for People’s Movement, Jal Biradari and Ekta Parishad uncovered the ground reality which is far from what is claimed, be it declaring an area drought hit, irrigation matters, MNREGA, Mid day meal, Schooling, Food security or the basic amenity like toilets.
 
6 teams formed under Drought Duty Campaign conducted their work in village Sehria, Sheopur of Madhya Pradesh.
 
During their 4 days of observation and interaction with villagers from 27 may to 31 may 2016, the interns found that one of the Block Karahal has not been declared Drought Hit despite no rain for the past three years and needs an immediate relief package. The team also explored possibilities of construction of Dams for uninterrupted irrigation and employment generation and suggested digging one bore well for every 5 villages.
 
The team was surprised to see that MNREGA was not applicable in any of the villages in its full capacity. Mid day meal scheme in schools is also not implemented despite clear orders of Supreme Court (writ petition 857 of 2015, Dated 13 may 2016) which says that school children to be provided mid day meal even during summer holidays.
 
The team also observed that cereal distributed under Ration scheme is of poor quality and only suitable for cattle. The plight doesn’t end here, the poor quality grain is available to people on a fixed and allotted day and for any reason if a person could not claim that Ration, he no more can claim it. As a result, it leads to large number of people suffering from malnutrition, children and ladies often succumb to deadly diseases.
 
There are poor or absolutely no health services available. Construction of toilets and bathrooms for ladies must be started at war footing level to safe guard their health and cleanliness.
 
These teams from Swaraj Abhiyan have shown great interest in planning and help in implementing initiatives taken by the Government administration.
 
The second batch is going on in Jhansi, UP; Gaya, Bihar and Jalgaon, Maharashtra. The next four batches will be spread across, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Bundelkhand, Chattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh. Over 500 students from across the country have applied for drought duty so far.

Swaraj Abhiyan’s Drought Duty campaign, a week long internship program for students, has been getting an overwhelming response from youth across India.
 
Drought Duty is an opportunity for the youth of the country to participate in drought mitigation processes in the affected rural areas. The program, which has attracted attention from students across regions and disciplines, includes surveying drought affected areas to understand the realities of the policy-made disaster, mapping water resources and preparing report to highlight the ground realities. Interns will also disseminate information about people’s rights and entitlements.
 
Drought Duty has so far received over 400 confirmed applications from youth from over 23 states and UTs across India, thus providing an assurance that the youth of the country wants to work towards bridging the disconnect between the rural and urban India.
 
The first batch of Drought Duty interns have begun their work from 26th May in the villages of Madhya Pradesh. Three groups of the second batches of interns will work in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Maharashtra from 4th June to 11th June. The subsequent groups of students will be sent to other drought affected states in following batches:
 
• 13th – 20th June
• 22nd- 29th June
• 1st – 8 July
• 8th – 15th July.
 
It was recently on Swaraj Abhiyan’s writ petition that the Supreme Court reprimanded the centre and states and directed them to implement schemes like Mid Day Meal, National Food Security Act and Employment Guarantee Act with adequate force to tackle the worsening situation in rural India.
 
As way forward to the historic Supreme Court judgement, Swaraj Abhiyan has taken up the Drought Duty initiative to bridge the ever increasing disconnect between rural and urban India. The Abhiyan volunteers led by Yogendra Yadav have also undertaken a 10-day Jal-Hal Padyatra through drought hit regions of Marathwada & Bundelkhand. The Yatra, to be concluded on May 31, has reached Bundelkhand after covering the Marathwada leg.

विश्वविद्यालय में 24×7 अध्ययन कक्ष के लिए ‘यूथ 4 स्वराज’ के छात्रों का अभियान
 
दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के छात्रों ने आज अनोखे ढंग से अपने कार्यकारी उपकुलपति श्री सुधीर पचौरी को नववर्ष की शुभकामनाएँ दी। स्वराज अभियान से जुड़े सैकड़ों छात्र ‘यूथ 4 स्वराज’ के बैनर तले विश्वविद्यालय के नार्थ कैंपस में विवेकानंद की प्रतिमा के सम्मुख दोपहर १२ बजे एकत्रित हुए। उपकुलपति के कार्यालय तक मार्च करने के दौरान विश्वविद्यालय के अधिकारीयों ने छात्रों को आगे बढ़ने से रोक दिया। मुख्य द्वार के पास Y4S छात्रों द्वारा दबाव बनाये जाने के बाद अधिकारीयों ने छात्रों के एक समूह को डीन से मिलने दिया।
 
आज Y4S के छात्रों ने अपनी माँग रखने का एक नायाब तरीका अपनाया। ‘यूथ 4 स्वराज’ के छात्रों ने नए साल की मनोकामना के तौर पर उपकुलपति महोदय से निवेदन किया कि 24 घंटे खुले रहने वाले एक अध्ययन कक्ष की व्यवस्था हो।
 
गौरतलब है कि दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के नार्थ कैंपस में पहले इस तरह का 24×7 अध्ययन कक्ष था जिसे अप्रैल 2013 में छात्रों के लिए नए और बड़े कक्ष बनाने के नाम पर तोड़ दिया गया। लेकिन यह वादा कभी पूरा नहीं किया गया और छात्रों को अध्ययन कक्ष नहीं मिला। ‘यूथ 4 स्वराज’ ने इसे विश्वविद्यालय प्रशासन द्वारा छात्रों के साथ धोखा करार दिया है।
 
छात्र याद करते हैं कि विश्वविद्यालय के हज़ारों गरीब छात्रों के लिए पुराना रीडिंग हॉल कैसे एक वरदान की तरह था। कई छात्र सारी रात यहाँ पढ़ते हुए प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं की तैयारी किया करते थे। कोई आश्चर्य नहीं कि पिछले कुछ सालों में डीयू के छात्रों का प्रतियोगी परीक्षाओं में प्रदर्शन कमतर रहा है। आश्चर्य की बात है कि डीयू जैसे देश की राजधानी में स्थित केंद्रीय विश्वविद्यालय में आज इस सुविधा का अभाव है जबकि एक समय में यह सुविधा उपलब्ध थी।
 
‘यूथ 4 स्वराज’ के छात्रों ने नववर्ष के ग्रीटिंग कार्ड के रूप में ज्ञापन दिया और 24×7 अध्ययन कक्ष के लिए त्वरित कार्रवाई का निवेदन किया। विश्वविद्यालय के डीन के पास सवालों के जवाब नहीं थे और उन्होंने आश्वाशन दिया कि Y4S के निवेदन पर विचार किया जायेगा। छात्रों का कहना है कि यदि उनकी माँग पर उचित कार्रवाई नहीं होती तो यह अभियान (#ReadingHall) बड़ा रूप लेगा। अगले सप्ताह विश्वविद्यालय की छुट्टियां ख़त्म होने के बाद #ReadingHall कैम्पेन को वृहद् रूप दिया जायेगा।

Students of Delhi university found a unique way to wish new year 2016 to their acting Vice Chancellor Mr. Sudhish Pachauri. Under the banner of (Y4S) Youth for Swaraj, hundreds of students associated with Swaraj Abhiyan gathered near the Vivekananda statue in north campus of the university at 12noon for an interesting & innovative campaign to demand a 24×7 reading hall in the university. Students also wanted to present the VC with a huge hand-made greeting card wishing a happy new year 2016. But when they started to march to the VC office, they were stopped on the way by university officials.
 
After the Y4S students mounted pressure, a delegation was allowed to meet the Dean, Students Welfare. Stating it as their new year wish, the Y4S students requested the dean to immediately provide a reading space cum 24-hour open library. The Dean assured that the university would look into the genuine demand.
 
It should be noted that Delhi university had a 24×7 reading hall in the north campus which was demolished in April 2013 on the pretext of constructing a bigger new space for students. But the promise was never fulfilled as the reading hall has not yet been made available. Y4S termed it a cheating with students on part of DU administration.
 
Students recounted that the previous reading hall was a blessing for thousands of poor students in the university. There were students who would spend nights studying in the hall preparing for competitive exams. No wonder the performance of DU students in competitive examinations have gone down over the years. It is surprising that a central university like DU lacks such a facility, that too after having it at one point of time.
 
Y4S students submitted a memorandum in the format of a new year greeting card requesting to take immediate steps for a 24×7 reading hall in the campus. They have said that the #ReadingHall campaign would take a bigger shape if the administration doesn’t heed their request. The classes after winter vacations are supposed to resume on January 4 and a bigger pressure would be mounted if the administration doesn’t respond by next week.

स्वराज अभियान ने लिया सबके लिये, सहज-सुलभ, सामान और सार्थक शिक्षा के लिये एक नये आन्दोलन का संकल्प
 
पसम्पूर्ण राष्ट्र के युवाओं की उर्जा व आकांक्षाओ को खुद में समेटे हुए और उनकी ज्वलंत समस्याओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए स्वराज अभियान ने आज ‘शिक्षा और रोज़गार’ विषय पर दिल्ली में एक युवा सम्मेलन का आयोजन किया। इस अधिवेशन में देश के अनेक राज्यों से आये छात्र-छात्राएं, अभिवाहक, शिक्षक, शिक्षाविद और समाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं ने भाग लिया। देश के अलग –अलग कोने से इस युवा सम्मलेन में भाग लेने आए सभी विद्यार्थी, युवजन, शिक्षक और अभिवाहक आज देश की शिक्षा व्यवस्था में अविश्वास व्यक्त करते हुए एक नयी व्यवस्था के निर्माण के लिए शिक्षा स्वराज आन्दोलन की अनिवार्यता को स्वीकार किया।
 
दिल्ली में कंस्टिट्युशन क्लब के मावलंकर हॉल में आयोजित इस अधिवेशन में युवाओ में अभूतपूर्व उर्जा थी। आज मंगलवार के रूप में कार्य दिवस होने के बाद भी पूरा हाल युवाओं व उर्जा से भरा हुआ था। इस कार्यक्रम में ‘इंडियन ओशिन बैंड’ के राहुल राम ने शिरकत करते हुए संगीतमय प्रस्तुति के माध्यम से देश के वर्तमान वयवस्था पर तंज कसते हुए अपनी बात कही। इस सम्मेलन में शिक्षा और रोज़गार के गंभीर मुद्दों पर स्वराज अभियान की कार्य योजना निर्धारित की गयी आगे की निति की उदघोषणा की गयी।
 
इस अधिवेशन में स्वराज अभियान के राष्ट्रीय संयोजक प्रो. आनंद कुमार, अजित झा, प्रो योगेन्द्र यादव, प्रशांत भूषण, डा. धर्मवीर गांधी, डा. उमेश सिंह, पंकज पुष्कर और अनुपम सिंह के अलावा कई युवाओं, अभिभावकों व शिक्षाविदों ने इस सभा को संबोधित करते हुए अपने सुझाव रखे।
 
स्वराज अभियान विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग द्वारा ऍम.फिल/पी.एच.डी. के लिये ‘नॉन-नेट’ छात्रवृति को बंद करने का फैसला को नामंजूर करता है। हम इसके विरोध में छात्र आन्दोलन का समर्थन करते है। अधिवेशन के उपरांत सम्मलेन में उपस्थित सभी गणमान्य, प्रो योगेन्द्र यादव और प्रो आनंद कुमार के नेतृत्व में पैदल मार्च कर UGC विरुद्ध आन्दोलनरत विद्यार्थियों के आन्दोलन स्थल तक गए और उन्हें समर्थन देते हुए उनके संघर्ष में शामिल हुये।
 
छात्रों और युवाओं के बीच चर्चा के बाद निष्कर्ष स्वरुप “संकल्प पत्र” सदन के पटल पर रखा गया और इसे सर्वसम्मति से युवाओं के द्वारा पारित किया गया|
